Read All Ahadith In The Book Of muslim

It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin As-Sa'ib said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) led us in praying As-Subh in Makkah, and he started to recite Surat Al-Mu'minun, until he reached the Verses that mention Musa and Harun, peace be upon them, or 'Eisa - Muhammad bin 'Abbad was not sure, or there was a difference of opinion concerning that - "then the Prophet (s.a.w) was overcome by a cough, so he bowed." 'Abdullah bin As-Sa'ib was present on that occasion. According to the Hadith of 'Abdur-Razzaq: "He cut short (his recitation) and bowed."

و حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ ح و حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ وَتَقَارَبَا فِي اللَّفْظِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَبَّادِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ يَقُولُ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ الْعَابِدِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ قَالَ صَلَّى لَنَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الصُّبْحَ بِمَكَّةَ فَاسْتَفْتَحَ سُورَةَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ حَتَّى جَاءَ ذِكْرُ مُوسَى وَهَارُونَ أَوْ ذِكْرُ عِيسَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ يَشُكُّ أَوْ اخْتَلَفُوا عَلَيْهِ أَخَذَتْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَعْلَةٌ فَرَكَعَ وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ السَّائِبِ حَاضِرٌ ذَلِكَ وَفِي حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ فَحَذَفَ فَرَكَعَ وَفِي حَدِيثِهِ وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو وَلَمْ يَقُلْ ابْنِ الْعَاصِ

It was narrated that Qutbah bin Malik said: "I offered prayers and the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) led us in (that) prayer, and he recited: "Qaf By the Glorious Qur'an... until he reached: "And tall date palms" Then he started to repeat it, and I do not know what he said."

حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو كَامِلٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ فُضَيْلُ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ عَنْ قُطْبَةَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ صَلَّيْتُ وَصَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَرَأَ ق وَالْقُرْآنِ الْمَجِيدِ حَتَّى قَرَأَ { وَالنَّخْلَ بَاسِقَاتٍ } قَالَ فَجَعَلْتُ أُرَدِّدُهَا وَلَا أَدْرِي مَا قَالَ

It was narrated from Jabir bin Samurah that the Prophet (s.a.w) used to recite in Fajr: "Qaf. By the Glorious Qur'an", and the rest of his prayers were short.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ زَائِدَةَ حَدَّثَنَا سِمَاكُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْفَجْرِ بِق وَالْقُرْآنِ الْمَجِيدِ وَكَانَ صَلَاتُهُ بَعْدُ تَخْفِيفًا

It was narrated that Simak said: "I asked Jabir bin Samurah about the prayer of the Prophet. He said: 'He used to make his prayer short, and he did not pray like these people."' And he told me that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) used to recite in Fajr "Qaf. By the glorious Qur'an" and similar Surah.

و حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ وَاللَّفْظُ لِابْنِ رَافِعٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ عَنْ صَلَاةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ كَانَ يُخَفِّفُ الصَّلَاةَ وَلَا يُصَلِّي صَلَاةَ هَؤُلَاءِ قَالَ وَأَنْبَأَنِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْفَجْرِ بِق وَالْقُرْآنِ وَنَحْوِهَا.

It was narrated that Jabir bin Samurah said: "The Prophet (s.a.w) used to recite in Zuhr: "By the night as it envelops", and something similar in 'Asr, and in Subh he would recite something longer than that."

و حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ بِاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَى وَفِي الْعَصْرِ نَحْوَ ذَلِكَ وَفِي الصُّبْحِ أَطْوَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ

It was narrated from Abu Barzah that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) used to recite between sixty and one hundred Verses in Al-Ghadah prayer.

و حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ عَنْ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْمِنْهَالِ عَنْ أَبِي بَرْزَةَأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي صَلَاةِ الْغَدَاةِ مِنْ السِّتِّينَ إِلَى الْمِائَةِ

It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said that Umm Al-Fadl bint Al-Harith heard him reciting: "By the winds (or angels or the Messengers of Allah) sent forth one after another. And she said: "O my son, your reading of this Surah reminded me that the last thing I heard the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) reciting was this Surah, during Maghrib."

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ إِنَّ أُمَّ الْفَضْلِ بِنْتَ الْحَارِثِ سَمِعَتْهُ وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ وَالْمُرْسَلَاتِ عُرْفًا فَقَالَتْ يَا بُنَيَّ لَقَدْ ذَكَّرْتَنِي بِقِرَاءَتِكَ هَذِهِ السُّورَةَ إِنَّهَا لَآخِرُ مَا سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ بِهَا فِي الْمَغْرِبِ.

Al-Bara' narrated that the Prophet (s.a.w) was on a journey, and he prayed 'Isha' the later, and recited in one of the two Rak'ah: By the fig, and the olive."

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَدِيٍّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَصَلَّى الْعِشَاءَ الْآخِرَةَ فَقَرَأَ فِي إِحْدَى الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ.

It was narrated from Sufyan, from 'Amr, that Jabir said: "Mu'adh used to offer prayers with the Prophet (s.a.w), then he would go and lead his people in prayer. One night he offered 'Isha' with the Prophet (s.a.w), then he went to his people to lead them in prayer. He started to recite Surat Al-Baqarah, and one man turned aside, said the Salam, then he prayed by himself and went away. They said to him: 'Are you a hypocrite, O so-and-so?' He said: 'No, by Allah, and I will go to the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) and tell him.' He went to the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, we are owners of camels used for watering. We work by day and Mu'adh offered 'Isha' with you, then he came and started to recite Surat Al-Baqarah.' The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) turned to Mu'adh and said: 'O Mu'adh, are you trying cause Fitnah? Recite such-and-such, recite such-and-such.'" Sufyan said: "I said to 'Amr: 'Abu Az-Zubair narrated to us, from Jabir, that he said: Recite: "By the sun and its brightness", "By the forenoon", "By the night as it envelops" and "Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High." 'Amr said: "Something like that."

حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ كَانَ مُعَاذٌ يُصَلِّي مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ يَأْتِي فَيَؤُمُّ قَوْمَهُ فَصَلَّى لَيْلَةً مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْعِشَاءَ ثُمَّ أَتَى قَوْمَهُ فَأَمَّهُمْ فَافْتَتَحَ بِسُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ فَانْحَرَفَ رَجُلٌ فَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَحْدَهُ وَانْصَرَفَ فَقَالُوا لَهُ أَنَافَقْتَ يَا فُلَانُ قَالَ لَا وَاللَّهِ وَلَآتِيَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَأُخْبِرَنَّهُ فَأَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا أَصْحَابُ نَوَاضِحَ نَعْمَلُ بِالنَّهَارِ وَإِنَّ مُعَاذًا صَلَّى مَعَكَ الْعِشَاءَ ثُمَّ أَتَى فَافْتَتَحَ بِسُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ فَأَقْبَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى مُعَاذٍ فَقَالَ يَا مُعَاذُ أَفَتَّانٌ أَنْتَ اقْرَأْ بِكَذَا وَاقْرَأْ بِكَذَا قَالَ سُفْيَانُ فَقُلْتُ لِعَمْرٍو إِنَّ أَبَا الزُّبَيْرِ حَدَّثَنَا عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ اقْرَأْ وَالشَّمْسِ وَضُحَاهَا وَالضُّحَى وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَى وَسَبِّحْ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى فَقَالَ عَمْرٌو نَحْوَ هَذَا.

It was narrated that Jabir said: "Mu'adh bin Jabal Al-Ansari led his companions in praying 'Isha' and he made it long for them. A man went away and prayed (separately), and Mu'adh was told about that, and said: 'He is a hypocrite.' When news of that reached the man, he went to the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) and told him what Mu'adh had said. The Prophet (s.a.w) said to him: 'Do you want to cause Fintah, O Mu'adh? When you lead the people in prayer, recite: "By the sun and its brightness", "Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High" "Read! In the Name of your Lord" and: "By the night as it envelops."

و حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ قَالَ ح و حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ رُمْحٍ أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ صَلَّى مُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ لِأَصْحَابِهِ الْعِشَاءَ فَطَوَّلَ عَلَيْهِمْ فَانْصَرَفَ رَجُلٌ مِنَّا فَصَلَّى فَأُخْبِرَ مُعَاذٌ عَنْهُ فَقَالَ إِنَّهُ مُنَافِقٌ فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ ذَلِكَ الرَّجُلَ دَخَلَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرَهُ مَا قَالَ مُعَاذٌ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَتُرِيدُ أَنْ تَكُونَ فَتَّانًا يَا مُعَاذُ إِذَا أَمَمْتَ النَّاسَ فَاقْرَأْ بِالشَّمْسِ وَضُحَاهَا وَسَبِّحْ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى وَاقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَى
