Read All Ahadith In The Book Of muslim

It was narrated that Khabbab said: "We complained to the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) about praying on the hot sand, and he did not respond to our complaint."

وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِى شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ سَلاَّمُ بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ أَبِى إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنْ خَبَّابٍ قَالَ شَكَوْنَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- الصَّلاَةَ فِى الرَّمْضَاءِ فَلَمْ يُشْكِنَا.

It was narrated that Khabbab said: "We came to the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) and complained to him about the hot sand and he did not respond to our complaint." Zuhair said: "I said to Abu Ishaq: 'Was that concerning Zuhr?' He said: 'Yes.' I said: 'Was it about praying it earlier?' He said: 'Yes."'

وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ وَعَوْنُ بْنُ سَلاَّمٍ - قَالَ عَوْنٌ أَخْبَرَنَا وَقَالَ ابْنُ يُونُسَ وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ - قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنْ خَبَّابٍ قَالَ أَتَيْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- فَشَكَوْنَا إِلَيْهِ حَرَّ الرَّمْضَاءِ فَلَمْ يُشْكِنَا. قَالَ زُهَيْرٌ قُلْتُ لأَبِى إِسْحَاقَ أَفِى الظُّهْرِ قَالَ نَعَمْ. قُلْتُ أَفِى تَعْجِيلِهَا قَالَ نَعَمْ.

It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said: "We used to pray (Zuhr) with the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) when it was intensely hot, and if one of us could not place his forehead firmly on the ground, he would spread out his garment and prostrate on it."

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ عَنْ غَالِبٍ الْقَطَّانِ عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ كُنَّا نُصَلِّى مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- فِى شِدَّةِ الْحَرِّ فَإِذَا لَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ أَحَدُنَا أَنْ يُمَكِّنَ جَبْهَتَهُ مِنَ الأَرْضِ بَسَطَ ثَوْبَهُ فَسَجَدَ عَلَيْهِ.

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) used to pray 'Asr when the sun was high and bright, then a person would go to Al-'Awali and reach Al-'Awali when the sun was still high.

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ ح قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- كَانَ يُصَلِّى الْعَصْرَ وَالشَّمْسُ مُرْتَفِعَةٌ حَيَّةٌ فَيَذْهَبُ الذَّاهِبُ إِلَى الْعَوَالِى فَيَأْتِى الْعَوَالِىَ وَالشَّمْسُ مُرْتَفِعَةٌ. وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ قُتَيْبَةُ فَيَأْتِى الْعَوَالِىَ.

It was narrated from Al-'Ala bin 'Abdur-Rahman that he entered upon Anas bin Malik in his house in Al-Basrah, when he had finished Zuhr, and his house was beside the Masjid. When we entered upon him he said: 'Have you prayed 'Asr?' We said: 'We have just finished Zuhr.' He said: 'Pray 'Asr.' So we stood up and prayed, and when we had finished he said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) say: That is the prayer of the hypocrite. He sits watching the sun, then when it is between the horns of the Shaitan, he stands up and pecks out four Rak'ah, in which he remembers Allah only a little."'

وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ وَقُتَيْبَةُ وَابْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ فِى دَارِهِ بِالْبَصْرَةِ حِينَ انْصَرَفَ مِنَ الظُّهْرِ وَدَارُهُ بِجَنْبِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَلَمَّا دَخَلْنَا عَلَيْهِ قَالَ أَصَلَّيْتُمُ الْعَصْرَ فَقُلْنَا لَهُ إِنَّمَا انْصَرَفْنَا السَّاعَةَ مِنَ الظُّهْرِ. قَالَ فَصَلُّوا الْعَصْرَ. فَقُمْنَا فَصَلَّيْنَا فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفْنَا قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- يَقُولُ « تِلْكَ صَلاَةُ الْمُنَافِقِ يَجْلِسُ يَرْقُبُ الشَّمْسَ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَتْ بَيْنَ قَرْنَىِ الشَّيْطَانِ قَامَ فَنَقَرَهَا أَرْبَعًا لاَ يَذْكُرُ اللَّهَ فِيهَا إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً ».

Abu Umamah bin Sahl said: "We prayed Zuhr with 'Umar bin 'Abdul-'Aziz, then we went out and entered upon Anas bin Malik, and we found him praying 'Asr. I said: 'O uncle, what is the prayer that you have prayed?' He said: ''Asr. This is the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) which we used to pray with him."'

وَحَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِى مُزَاحِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ أَبِى بَكْرِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ بْنَ سَهْلٍ يَقُولُ صَلَّيْنَا مَعَ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الظُّهْرَ ثُمَّ خَرَجْنَا حَتَّى دَخَلْنَا عَلَى أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ فَوَجَدْنَاهُ يُصَلِّى الْعَصْرَ فَقُلْتُ يَا عَمِّ مَا هَذِهِ الصَّلاَةُ الَّتِى صَلَّيْتَ قَالَ الْعَصْرُ وَهَذِهِ صَلاَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله تعالى عليه وسلم الَّتِى كُنَّا نُصَلِّى مَعَهُ.

It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) led us in praying 'Asr, and when he had finished, a man from Banu Salimah came and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, we want to slaughter a camel of ours, and we would like you to be present.' He said, 'Yes.' So he set out, and we set out with him, and we found that the camel had not yet been slaughtered. It was slaughtered, then cut into pieces, and some of it was cooked, then we ate, before the sun set."

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ سَوَّادٍ الْعَامِرِىُّ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ الْمُرَادِىُّ وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عِيسَى - وَأَلْفَاظُهُمْ مُتَقَارِبَةٌ - قَالَ عَمْرٌو أَخْبَرَنَا وَقَالَ الآخَرَانِ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِى عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِى حَبِيبٍ أَنَّ مُوسَى بْنَ سَعْدٍ الأَنْصَارِىَّ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ صَلَّى لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- الْعَصْرَ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ أَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِى سَلِمَةَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا نُرِيدُ أَنْ نَنْحَرَ جَزُورًا لَنَا وَنَحْنُ نُحِبُّ أَنْ تَحْضُرَهَا. قَالَ « نَعَمْ ». فَانْطَلَقَ وَانْطَلَقْنَا مَعَهُ فَوَجَدْنَا الْجَزُورَ لَمْ تُنْحَرْ فَنُحِرَتْ ثُمَّ قُطِّعَتْ ثُمَّ طُبِخَ مِنْهَا ثُمَّ أَكَلْنَا قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغِيبَ الشَّمْسُ. وَقَالَ الْمُرَادِىُّ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ لَهِيعَةَ وَعَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ فِى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ.

Rafi' bin Khadij said: "We used to pray 'Asr with the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w), then a camel would be slaughtered and divided into ten parts, then it would be cooked and we would eat cooked meat, before the sun set."

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ الرَّازِىُّ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا الأَوْزَاعِىُّ عَنْ أَبِى النَّجَاشِىِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَافِعَ بْنَ خَدِيجٍ يَقُولُ كُنَّا نُصَلِّى الْعَصْرَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- ثُمَّ تُنْحَرُ الْجَزُورُ فَتُقْسَمُ عَشَرَ قِسَمٍ ثُمَّ تُطْبَخُ فَنَأْكُلُ لَحْمًا نَضِيجًا قَبْلَ مَغِيبِ الشَّمْسِ.

Al-Awza'i narrated it (the narration of Rafi') with this chain, except that he said: "We used to slaughter a camel after 'Asr at the time of the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w)," and he did not say: "We used to pray with him."

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ وَشُعَيْبُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الدِّمَشْقِىُّ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا الأَوْزَاعِىُّ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ كُنَّا نَنْحَرُ الْجَزُورَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ. وَلَمْ يَقُلْ كُنَّا نُصَلِّى مَعَهُ.

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: "The one who misses 'Asr is like the one whose family and wealth were taken from him."

وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- قَالَ « الَّذِى تَفُوتُهُ صَلاَةُ الْعَصْرِ كَأَنَّمَا وُتِرَ أَهْلَهُ وَمَالَهُ ».
