الٓمّٓۚ۝۱

ALIF LAM MIM.

ذٰلِكَ الْكِتٰبُ لَا رَیْبَ ۛۖۚ فِیْهِ ۛۚ هُدًی لِّلْمُتَّقِیْنَۙ۝۲

This is The Book free of doubt and involution, a guidance for those who preserve themselves from evil and follow the straight path,

الَّذِیْنَ یُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِالْغَیْبِ وَ یُقِیْمُوْنَ الصَّلٰوةَ وَ مِمَّا رَزَقْنٰهُمْ یُنْفِقُوْنَۙ۝۳

Who believe in the Unknown and fulfil their devotional obligations, and spend in charity of what We have given them;

وَ الَّذِیْنَ یُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِمَاۤ اُنْزِلَ اِلَیْكَ وَ مَاۤ اُنْزِلَ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ ۚ وَ بِالْاٰخِرَةِ هُمْ یُوْقِنُوْنَؕ۝۴

Who believe in what has been revealed to you and what was revealed to those before you, and are certain of the Hereafter.

اُولٰٓىِٕكَ عَلٰی هُدًی مِّنْ رَّبِّهِمْ ۗ وَ اُولٰٓىِٕكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُوْنَ۝۵

They have found the guidance of their Lord and will be successful.

اِنَّ الَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا سَوَآءٌ عَلَیْهِمْ ءَاَنْذَرْتَهُمْ اَمْ لَمْ تُنْذِرْهُمْ لَا یُؤْمِنُوْنَ۝۶

As for those who deny, it is all the same if you warn them or not, they will not believe.

خَتَمَ اللّٰهُ عَلٰی قُلُوْبِهِمْ وَ عَلٰی سَمْعِهِمْ ؕ وَ عَلٰۤی اَبْصَارِهِمْ غِشَاوَةٌ ؗ وَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِیْمٌ۠۝۷

God has sealed their hearts and ears, and veiled their eyes. For them is great deprivation.

وَ مِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ یَّقُوْلُ اٰمَنَّا بِاللّٰهِ وَ بِالْیَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِ وَ مَا هُمْ بِمُؤْمِنِیْنَۘ۝۸

And there are some who, though they say: "We believe in God and the Last Day," (in reality) do not believe.

یُخٰدِعُوْنَ اللّٰهَ وَ الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا ۚ وَ مَا یَخْدَعُوْنَ اِلَّاۤ اَنْفُسَهُمْ وَ مَا یَشْعُرُوْنَؕ۝۹

They (try to) deceive God and those who believe, yet deceive none but themselves although they do not know.

فِیْ قُلُوْبِهِمْ مَّرَضٌ ۙ فَزَادَهُمُ اللّٰهُ مَرَضًا ۚ وَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ اَلِیْمٌۢ ۙ۬ بِمَا كَانُوْا یَكْذِبُوْنَ۝۱۰

Sick are their hearts, and God adds to their malady. For them is suffering for they lie.
