قُلْ اَعُوْذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِۙ۝۱

SAY: "I SEEK refuge with the Lord of rising day

مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَۙ۝۲

From the evil of what He has created,

وَ مِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ اِذَا وَقَبَۙ۝۳

And the evil of evening darkness when it overspreads,

وَ مِنْ شَرِّ النَّفّٰثٰتِ فِی الْعُقَدِۙ۝۴

From the evil of sorceresses who blow incantations on knots,

وَ مِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ اِذَا حَسَدَ۠۝۵

From the evil of the envier when he envies.
