اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِیْۤ اَنْزَلَ عَلٰی عَبْدِهِ الْكِتٰبَ وَ لَمْ یَجْعَلْ لَّهٗ عِوَجًاؕٚ۝۱

ALL PRAISE BE to God who has revealed to His votary the Book which is free of all obliquity,

قَیِّمًا لِّیُنْذِرَ بَاْسًا شَدِیْدًا مِّنْ لَّدُنْهُ وَ یُبَشِّرَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ الَّذِیْنَ یَعْمَلُوْنَ الصّٰلِحٰتِ اَنَّ لَهُمْ اَجْرًا حَسَنًاۙ۝۲

Immutable, so that it may warn of a severe punishment from Him; and give happy tidings to those who believe and do the right that there is a better reward (of Paradise) for them,

مَّاكِثِیْنَ فِیْهِ اَبَدًاۙ۝۳

Where they will abide for ever;

وَّ یُنْذِرَ الَّذِیْنَ قَالُوا اتَّخَذَ اللّٰهُ وَلَدًاۗ۝۴

And that it may warn those who say: "God has begotten a son."

مَا لَهُمْ بِهٖ مِنْ عِلْمٍ وَّ لَا لِاٰبَآىِٕهِمْ ؕ كَبُرَتْ كَلِمَةً تَخْرُجُ مِنْ اَفْوَاهِهِمْ ؕ اِنْ یَّقُوْلُوْنَ اِلَّا كَذِبًا۝۵

They have no knowledge of this, as their fathers did not have. How terrible are the words they utter! They speak nothing but lies.

فَلَعَلَّكَ بَاخِعٌ نَّفْسَكَ عَلٰۤی اٰثَارِهِمْ اِنْ لَّمْ یُؤْمِنُوْا بِهٰذَا الْحَدِیْثِ اَسَفًا۝۶

Will you kill yourself for grief of them if they do not believe in this presentation?

اِنَّا جَعَلْنَا مَا عَلَی الْاَرْضِ زِیْنَةً لَّهَا لِنَبْلُوَهُمْ اَیُّهُمْ اَحْسَنُ عَمَلًا۝۷

We have made whatever exists on the earth its adornment to test and try them (and) know who acts better;

وَ اِنَّا لَجٰعِلُوْنَ مَا عَلَیْهَا صَعِیْدًا جُرُزًاؕ۝۸

For We shall certainly turn it to barren dust.

اَمْ حَسِبْتَ اَنَّ اَصْحٰبَ الْكَهْفِ وَ الرَّقِیْمِ ۙ كَانُوْا مِنْ اٰیٰتِنَا عَجَبًا۝۹

Do you think the men of the cave and Ar-Raqim were so strange among Our signs?

اِذْ اَوَی الْفِتْیَةُ اِلَی الْكَهْفِ فَقَالُوْا رَبَّنَاۤ اٰتِنَا مِنْ لَّدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً وَّ هَیِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ اَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا۝۱۰

When those young men took shelter in the cave, and prayed: "O Lord, grant us Your favour and dispose our affair aright,"
