اَمَّنْ هٰذَا الَّذِیْ یَرْزُقُكُمْ اِنْ اَمْسَكَ رِزْقَهٗ ۚ بَلْ لَّجُّوْا فِیْ عُتُوٍّ وَّ نُفُوْرٍ۝۲۱

Who is there to give you food in case He withholds His bounty? Yet they persist in rebellion and aversion.

اَفَمَنْ یَّمْشِیْ مُكِبًّا عَلٰی وَجْهِهٖۤ اَهْدٰۤی اَمَّنْ یَّمْشِیْ سَوِیًّا عَلٰی صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِیْمٍ۝۲۲

Will he find the way who grovels flat on his face, or he who walks straight on the right path?

قُلْ هُوَ الَّذِیْۤ اَنْشَاَكُمْ وَ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَ الْاَبْصَارَ وَ الْاَفْـِٕدَةَ ؕ قَلِیْلًا مَّا تَشْكُرُوْنَ۝۲۳

Say: "It is He who raised you and gave you ears and eyes and hearts. How little are the thanks you offer!"

قُلْ هُوَ الَّذِیْ ذَرَاَكُمْ فِی الْاَرْضِ وَ اِلَیْهِ تُحْشَرُوْنَ۝۲۴

Say: "It is He who dispersed you all over the earth, and to Him you will be gathered."

وَ یَقُوْلُوْنَ مَتٰی هٰذَا الْوَعْدُ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِیْنَ۝۲۵

But they say: "When will this promise come to pass, if what you say is true?"

قُلْ اِنَّمَا الْعِلْمُ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ ۪ وَ اِنَّمَاۤ اَنَا نَذِیْرٌ مُّبِیْنٌ۝۲۶

Say: "God alone has knowledge. My duty is only to warn you clearly."

فَلَمَّا رَاَوْهُ زُلْفَةً سِیْٓـَٔتْ وُجُوْهُ الَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا وَ قِیْلَ هٰذَا الَّذِیْ كُنْتُمْ بِهٖ تَدَّعُوْنَ۝۲۷

When they realise it has come upon them, distraught will be the faces of unbelievers. They will be told: "This is what you asked for."

قُلْ اَرَءَیْتُمْ اِنْ اَهْلَكَنِیَ اللّٰهُ وَ مَنْ مَّعِیَ اَوْ رَحِمَنَا ۙ فَمَنْ یُّجِیْرُ الْكٰفِرِیْنَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ اَلِیْمٍ۝۲۸

Say: "Just think: If God destroys me and those with me, or is benevolent to us, who will then protect the unbelievers from a painful doom?"

قُلْ هُوَ الرَّحْمٰنُ اٰمَنَّا بِهٖ وَ عَلَیْهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا ۚ فَسَتَعْلَمُوْنَ مَنْ هُوَ فِیْ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِیْنٍ۝۲۹

Say: "He is the benevolent; in Him do we believe, and in Him do we place our trust. You will now realise who is in manifest error."

قُلْ اَرَءَیْتُمْ اِنْ اَصْبَحَ مَآؤُكُمْ غَوْرًا فَمَنْ یَّاْتِیْكُمْ بِمَآءٍ مَّعِیْنٍ۠۝۳۰

Say: "Just think: If your water were to dry up in the morning who will bring you water from a fresh, flowing stream?"
