هٰذَا یَوْمُ لَا یَنْطِقُوْنَۙ۝۳۵

They will not be able to speak that day,

وَ لَا یُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَیَعْتَذِرُوْنَ۝۳۶

Nor given leave to make excuses.

هٰذَا یَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ ۚ جَمَعْنٰكُمْ وَ الْاَوَّلِیْنَ۝۳۸

That will be the Day of Reckoning. Gathered will be (you) and the earlier (generations).

فَاِنْ كَانَ لَكُمْ كَیْدٌ فَكِیْدُوْنِ۝۳۹

So if you have any plot to devise against Me, then devise it.

اِنَّ الْمُتَّقِیْنَ فِیْ ظِلٰلٍ وَّ عُیُوْنٍۙ۝۴۱

Those who take heed for themselves and fear God, will be amidst shade and springs of water,

وَّ فَوَاكِهَ مِمَّا یَشْتَهُوْنَؕ۝۴۲

And such fruits as they desire.

كُلُوْا وَ اشْرَبُوْا هَنِیْٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُوْنَ۝۴۳

"Eat and drink with relish as reward for what you had done."

اِنَّا كَذٰلِكَ نَجْزِی الْمُحْسِنِیْنَ۝۴۴

That is how We reward the good.

كُلُوْا وَ تَمَتَّعُوْا قَلِیْلًا اِنَّكُمْ مُّجْرِمُوْنَ۝۴۶

Eat and enjoy for a while: You are certainly sinners.

وَ اِذَا قِیْلَ لَهُمُ ارْكَعُوْا لَا یَرْكَعُوْنَ۝۴۸

When it is said to them: "Bow in homage," they do not bow.
