ِ۟الَّذِیْنَ یَتَرَبَّصُوْنَ بِكُمْ ۚ فَاِنْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فَتْحٌ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ قَالُوْۤا اَلَمْ نَكُنْ مَّعَكُمْ ۖؗ وَ اِنْ كَانَ لِلْكٰفِرِیْنَ نَصِیْبٌ ۙ قَالُوْۤا اَلَمْ نَسْتَحْوِذْ عَلَیْكُمْ وَ نَمْنَعْكُمْ مِّنَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ ؕ فَاللّٰهُ یَحْكُمُ بَیْنَكُمْ یَوْمَ الْقِیٰمَةِ ؕ وَ لَنْ یَّجْعَلَ اللّٰهُ لِلْكٰفِرِیْنَ عَلَی الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ سَبِیْلًا۠۝۱۴۱

Those who wait to see what befalls you, say in ease success comes to you from God: "Were we not with you?" But if fortune favours the infidels, they say: "Did we not overpower you, and yet protected you against the believers?" But God will judge between you on the Day of Resurrection; and God will never give the unbelievers a way over the faithful.

اِنَّ الْمُنٰفِقِیْنَ یُخٰدِعُوْنَ اللّٰهَ وَ هُوَ خَادِعُهُمْ ۚ وَ اِذَا قَامُوْۤا اِلَی الصَّلٰوةِ قَامُوْا كُسَالٰی ۙ یُرَآءُوْنَ النَّاسَ وَ لَا یَذْكُرُوْنَ اللّٰهَ اِلَّا قَلِیْلًاؗۙ۝۱۴۲

The hypocrites try to deceive God, but He (leads them to) deceive themselves. When they stand up for performing the service of prayer they do so indolently, only for show, and remember God but little,

مُّذَبْذَبِیْنَ بَیْنَ ذٰلِكَ ۖۗ لَاۤ اِلٰی هٰۤؤُلَآءِ وَ لَاۤ اِلٰی هٰۤؤُلَآءِ ؕ وَ مَنْ یُّضْلِلِ اللّٰهُ فَلَنْ تَجِدَ لَهٗ سَبِیْلًا۝۱۴۳

Wavering between the two, neither with these nor with those. For them who are not given the guidance by God, you will never find a way.

یٰۤاَیُّهَا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا الْكٰفِرِیْنَ اَوْلِیَآءَ مِنْ دُوْنِ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ ؕ اَتُرِیْدُوْنَ اَنْ تَجْعَلُوْا لِلّٰهِ عَلَیْكُمْ سُلْطٰنًا مُّبِیْنًا۝۱۴۴

O believers, do not hold unbelievers as friends in preference to the faithful. Do you want to proffer a clear proof of your own guilt before God?

اِنَّ الْمُنٰفِقِیْنَ فِی الدَّرْكِ الْاَسْفَلِ مِنَ النَّارِ ۚ وَ لَنْ تَجِدَ لَهُمْ نَصِیْرًاۙ۝۱۴۵

The hypocrites will be in the lowest depths of Hell, and you will find none to help them.

اِلَّا الَّذِیْنَ تَابُوْا وَ اَصْلَحُوْا وَ اعْتَصَمُوْا بِاللّٰهِ وَ اَخْلَصُوْا دِیْنَهُمْ لِلّٰهِ فَاُولٰٓىِٕكَ مَعَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ ؕ وَ سَوْفَ یُؤْتِ اللّٰهُ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ اَجْرًا عَظِیْمًا۝۱۴۶

But those who repent and amend, and hold firmly to God, and are sincere and wholly obedient to God, are surely with the faithful; and God will bestow on the faithful a great reward.

مَا یَفْعَلُ اللّٰهُ بِعَذَابِكُمْ اِنْ شَكَرْتُمْ وَ اٰمَنْتُمْ ؕ وَ كَانَ اللّٰهُ شَاكِرًا عَلِیْمًا۝۱۴۷

Why should God punish you if you acknowledge the truth and believe? God is responsive to gratitude and is cognisant.

لَا یُحِبُّ اللّٰهُ الْجَهْرَ بِالسُّوْٓءِ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ اِلَّا مَنْ ظُلِمَ ؕ وَ كَانَ اللّٰهُ سَمِیْعًا عَلِیْمًا۝۱۴۸

God does not like ill (of others) spoken about, except by him who has been wronged. For God hears all and knows everything.

اِنْ تُبْدُوْا خَیْرًا اَوْ تُخْفُوْهُ اَوْ تَعْفُوْا عَنْ سُوْٓءٍ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ عَفُوًّا قَدِیْرًا۝۱۴۹

Whether you do some good openly or in secret, or forgive an ill done to you, (know) that God is forgiving and all-powerful.

اِنَّ الَّذِیْنَ یَكْفُرُوْنَ بِاللّٰهِ وَ رُسُلِهٖ وَ یُرِیْدُوْنَ اَنْ یُّفَرِّقُوْا بَیْنَ اللّٰهِ وَ رُسُلِهٖ وَ یَقُوْلُوْنَ نُؤْمِنُ بِبَعْضٍ وَّ نَكْفُرُ بِبَعْضٍ ۙ وَّ یُرِیْدُوْنَ اَنْ یَّتَّخِذُوْا بَیْنَ ذٰلِكَ سَبِیْلًۙا۝۱۵۰

Those who believe not in God and His apostles, and desire to differentiate between God and His messengers, and say: "We believe in some and not in the others," and wish to find a way (between affirmation and denial),
