وَ اِذَا السَّمَآءُ كُشِطَتْ۪ۙ۝۱۱

The curtain drawn back from the skies,

وَ اِذَا الْجَحِیْمُ سُعِّرَتْ۪ۙ۝۱۲

When Hell is set ablaze,

وَ اِذَا الْجَنَّةُ اُزْلِفَتْ۪ۙ۝۱۳

And Paradise brought near,

عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّاۤ اَحْضَرَتْؕ۝۱۴

(Then) every soul will know what it had prepared (for itself).

فَلَاۤ اُقْسِمُ بِالْخُنَّسِۙ۝۱۵

So, I call the receding stars to witness,

الْجَوَارِ الْكُنَّسِۙ۝۱۶

The planets withdrawing into themselves,

وَ الَّیْلِ اِذَا عَسْعَسَۙ۝۱۷

The closing night,

وَ الصُّبْحِ اِذَا تَنَفَّسَۙ۝۱۸

The rising dawn,

اِنَّهٗ لَقَوْلُ رَسُوْلٍ كَرِیْمٍۙ۝۱۹

That this is indeed the word of an honoured Messenger,

ذِیْ قُوَّةٍ عِنْدَ ذِی الْعَرْشِ مَكِیْنٍۙ۝۲۰

Full of power, well-established (in position) with the Lord and Master of the Throne,
