وَ السَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ الرَّجْعِۙ۝۱۱

So I call to witness the rain-producing sky,

وَ الْاَرْضِ ذَاتِ الصَّدْعِۙ۝۱۲

And the earth which opens up (with verdure),

اِنَّهٗ لَقَوْلٌ فَصْلٌۙ۝۱۳

That this (Qur´an) is a decisive word

وَّ مَا هُوَ بِالْهَزْلِؕ۝۱۴

And no trifle.

اِنَّهُمْ یَكِیْدُوْنَ كَیْدًاۙ۝۱۵

They are hatching up a plot,

وَّ اَكِیْدُ كَیْدًاۚۖ۝۱۶

But I too am devising a plan.

فَمَهِّلِ الْكٰفِرِیْنَ اَمْهِلْهُمْ رُوَیْدًا۠۝۱۷

So bear with unbelievers with patience, and give them respite for a while.
