وَ اِذَا قِیْلَ لَهُمُ اتَّبِعُوْا مَاۤ اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ قَالُوْا بَلْ نَتَّبِعُ مَا وَجَدْنَا عَلَیْهِ اٰبَآءَنَا ؕ اَوَ لَوْ كَانَ الشَّیْطٰنُ یَدْعُوْهُمْ اِلٰی عَذَابِ السَّعِیْرِ۝۲۱

When you ask them to follow what God has revealed, they say: "No. We shall follow what we found our ancestors following," even though the devil were calling them to the torment of Hell!

وَ مَنْ یُّسْلِمْ وَجْهَهٗۤ اِلَی اللّٰهِ وَ هُوَ مُحْسِنٌ فَقَدِ اسْتَمْسَكَ بِالْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقٰی ؕ وَ اِلَی اللّٰهِ عَاقِبَةُ الْاُمُوْرِ۝۲۲

He who turns his face to God in submission and does good, holds fast to a handle that is strong; for the resultance of things rests with God.

وَ مَنْ كَفَرَ فَلَا یَحْزُنْكَ كُفْرُهٗ ؕ اِلَیْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ فَنُنَبِّئُهُمْ بِمَا عَمِلُوْا ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلِیْمٌۢ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُوْرِ۝۲۳

So do not let the unbelief of disbelievers grieve you. They will be brought back to Us, when We shall tell them what they used to do. Whatever is in their hearts is known to God.

نُمَتِّعُهُمْ قَلِیْلًا ثُمَّ نَضْطَرُّهُمْ اِلٰی عَذَابٍ غَلِیْظٍ۝۲۴

We let them enjoy themselves only for a while, then We shall drag them to a severe punishment.

وَ لَىِٕنْ سَاَلْتَهُمْ مَّنْ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَرْضَ لَیَقُوْلُنَّ اللّٰهُ ؕ قُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ ؕ بَلْ اَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا یَعْلَمُوْنَ۝۲۵

If you ask them: "Who created the heavens and the earth?" They will surely answer: "God." Say: "All praise be to God." But most of them do not understand.

لِلّٰهِ مَا فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَرْضِ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ الْغَنِیُّ الْحَمِیْدُ۝۲۶

To God belongs what is in the heavens and the earth. Verily He is all-sufficient, worthy of praise.

وَ لَوْ اَنَّ مَا فِی الْاَرْضِ مِنْ شَجَرَةٍ اَقْلَامٌ وَّ الْبَحْرُ یَمُدُّهٗ مِنْۢ بَعْدِهٖ سَبْعَةُ اَبْحُرٍ مَّا نَفِدَتْ كَلِمٰتُ اللّٰهِ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَزِیْزٌ حَكِیْمٌ۝۲۷

If all the trees of the earth were pens and the oceans ink, with many more oceans for replenishing them, the colloquy of God would never come to end. He is indeed all-mighty and all-wise.

مَا خَلْقُكُمْ وَ لَا بَعْثُكُمْ اِلَّا كَنَفْسٍ وَّاحِدَةٍ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ سَمِیْعٌۢ بَصِیْرٌ۝۲۸

Your creation and resurrection is but like that of a single cell. Verily He is all-hearing and all-seeing.

اَلَمْ تَرَ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ یُوْلِجُ الَّیْلَ فِی النَّهَارِ وَ یُوْلِجُ النَّهَارَ فِی الَّیْلِ وَ سَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَ الْقَمَرَ ؗ كُلٌّ یَّجْرِیْۤ اِلٰۤی اَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّی وَّ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ خَبِیْرٌ۝۲۹

Do you not see that God makes the night succeed the day, the day succeed the night? And He has harnessed the sun and the moon so that each runs its appointed course. Surely God is aware of all you do.

ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ الْحَقُّ وَ اَنَّ مَا یَدْعُوْنَ مِنْ دُوْنِهِ الْبَاطِلُ ۙ وَ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ الْعَلِیُّ الْكَبِیْرُ۠۝۳۰

That is so for God is the Reality, and what they invoke other than Him is illusion. Indeed God is all-high and supreme.
