وَ مَا كَانَ لَهٗ عَلَیْهِمْ مِّنْ سُلْطٰنٍ اِلَّا لِنَعْلَمَ مَنْ یُّؤْمِنُ بِالْاٰخِرَةِ مِمَّنْ هُوَ مِنْهَا فِیْ شَكٍّ ؕ وَ رَبُّكَ عَلٰی كُلِّ شَیْءٍ حَفِیْظٌ۠۝۲۱

He had no authority over them save for the purpose of Our knowing who believed in the world to come, and who doubted it. For your Lord keeps a watch over everything.

قُلِ ادْعُوا الَّذِیْنَ زَعَمْتُمْ مِّنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ ۚ لَا یَمْلِكُوْنَ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ لَا فِی الْاَرْضِ وَ مَا لَهُمْ فِیْهِمَا مِنْ شِرْكٍ وَّ مَا لَهٗ مِنْهُمْ مِّنْ ظَهِیْرٍ۝۲۲

Say: "Call on those you imagine are gods apart from God. They are not masters even of an atom´s weight in the heavens and the earth, nor do they have a share in them, nor is any one of them a helper (of God).

وَ لَا تَنْفَعُ الشَّفَاعَةُ عِنْدَهٗۤ اِلَّا لِمَنْ اَذِنَ لَهٗ ؕ حَتّٰۤی اِذَا فُزِّعَ عَنْ قُلُوْبِهِمْ قَالُوْا مَا ذَا ۙ قَالَ رَبُّكُمْ ؕ قَالُوا الْحَقَّ ۚ وَ هُوَ الْعَلِیُّ الْكَبِیْرُ۝۲۳

No intercession avails with Him except his He allows, so that when their hearts are freed of fear, they ask (one another): "What did your Lord say?" They will answer: "What is expedient. He is the all-mighty and supreme."

قُلْ مَنْ یَّرْزُقُكُمْ مِّنَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَرْضِ ؕ قُلِ اللّٰهُ ۙ وَ اِنَّاۤ اَوْ اِیَّاكُمْ لَعَلٰی هُدًی اَوْ فِیْ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِیْنٍ۝۲۴

Say: "Who gives you food from the heavens and the earth?" Say: "God. Surely either you or we are on guidance, or are lost in clear error."

قُلْ لَّا تُسْـَٔلُوْنَ عَمَّاۤ اَجْرَمْنَا وَ لَا نُسْـَٔلُ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُوْنَ۝۲۵

Say: "You will not be questioned about the sins that we have committed, nor shall we be questioned about your deeds."

قُلْ یَجْمَعُ بَیْنَنَا رَبُّنَا ثُمَّ یَفْتَحُ بَیْنَنَا بِالْحَقِّ ؕ وَ هُوَ الْفَتَّاحُ الْعَلِیْمُ۝۲۶

Say: "Our Lord will gather us together and judge between us equitably, for He is the Judge all-knowing."

قُلْ اَرُوْنِیَ الَّذِیْنَ اَلْحَقْتُمْ بِهٖ شُرَكَآءَ كَلَّا ؕ بَلْ هُوَ اللّٰهُ الْعَزِیْزُ الْحَكِیْمُ۝۲۷

Say: "Just show me those you associate with Him as compeers." No, (you cannot), for He is God, the all-mighty and all-wise."

وَ مَاۤ اَرْسَلْنٰكَ اِلَّا كَآفَّةً لِّلنَّاسِ بَشِیْرًا وَّ نَذِیْرًا وَّ لٰكِنَّ اَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا یَعْلَمُوْنَ۝۲۸

We have sent you only as a bearer of good tidings and admonisher for all mankind; yet most people do not understand.

وَ یَقُوْلُوْنَ مَتٰی هٰذَا الْوَعْدُ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِیْنَ۝۲۹

Instead they say: "When is this promise going to be, if you speak the truth?"

قُلْ لَّكُمْ مِّیْعَادُ یَوْمٍ لَّا تَسْتَاْخِرُوْنَ عَنْهُ سَاعَةً وَّ لَا تَسْتَقْدِمُوْنَ۠۝۳۰

Say: "Determined is the day of the promise, which you can neither put back nor advance an hour.´´
