قَالَ خُذْهَا وَ لَا تَخَفْ ۥ سَنُعِیْدُهَا سِیْرَتَهَا الْاُوْلٰی۝۲۱

"Catch it," said He, "and have no fear; We shall revert it to its former state.

وَ اضْمُمْ یَدَكَ اِلٰی جَنَاحِكَ تَخْرُجْ بَیْضَآءَ مِنْ غَیْرِ سُوْٓءٍ اٰیَةً اُخْرٰیۙ۝۲۲

And face what is to come with patience, your hand will not be tarnished with blame: Another sign

لِنُرِیَكَ مِنْ اٰیٰتِنَا الْكُبْرٰیۚ۝۲۳

That We may go on showing you Our greater signs.

اِذْهَبْ اِلٰی فِرْعَوْنَ اِنَّهٗ طَغٰی۠۝۲۴

Go to the Pharaoh as he has become exceedingly rebellious."

قَالَ رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِیْ صَدْرِیْۙ۝۲۵

Moses said: "O my Lord, enlarge my breast,

وَ یَسِّرْ لِیْۤ اَمْرِیْۙ۝۲۶

And make my mission easy.

وَ احْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِّنْ لِّسَانِیْۙ۝۲۷

Remove the defect of my tongue

یَفْقَهُوْا قَوْلِیْ۪۝۲۸

That they may understand my speech,

وَ اجْعَلْ لِّیْ وَزِیْرًا مِّنْ اَهْلِیْۙ۝۲۹

And give me as assistant from my family

هٰرُوْنَ اَخِیۙ۝۳۰
