یٰسٓۚ۝۱

YA SIN.

وَ الْقُرْاٰنِ الْحَكِیْمِۙ۝۲

I call to witness the Qur´an, custodian of all laws, --

اِنَّكَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِیْنَۙ۝۳

That you are indeed one of those sent

عَلٰی صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِیْمٍؕ۝۴

On a path that is straight, --

تَنْزِیْلَ الْعَزِیْزِ الرَّحِیْمِۙ۝۵

A revelation from the mighty, ever-merciful (God),

لِتُنْذِرَ قَوْمًا مَّاۤ اُنْذِرَ اٰبَآؤُهُمْ فَهُمْ غٰفِلُوْنَ۝۶

That you may warn a people whose ancestors had never been warned, who are therefore heedless.

لَقَدْ حَقَّ الْقَوْلُ عَلٰۤی اَكْثَرِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا یُؤْمِنُوْنَ۝۷

The sentence is surely justified against most of them, for they do not believe.

اِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِیْۤ اَعْنَاقِهِمْ اَغْلٰلًا فَهِیَ اِلَی الْاَذْقَانِ فَهُمْ مُّقْمَحُوْنَ۝۸

We will certainly put iron collars on their heel´s which will come up to their chins, so that they will not be able to raise their heads.

وَ جَعَلْنَا مِنْۢ بَیْنِ اَیْدِیْهِمْ سَدًّا وَّ مِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدًّا فَاَغْشَیْنٰهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا یُبْصِرُوْنَ۝۹

And We shall raise a barrier in front of them and a barrier behind them, and cover them over so that they will not be able to see.

وَ سَوَآءٌ عَلَیْهِمْ ءَاَنْذَرْتَهُمْ اَمْ لَمْ تُنْذِرْهُمْ لَا یُؤْمِنُوْنَ۝۱۰

Whether you warn them or do not warn, it is all the same; they will not believe.
