Read All Ahadith In The Book Of muslim

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: "The strong man is not the one who wrestles others; rather the strong man is the one who controls himself at times of anger."

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى ، وَعَبْدُ الأَعْلَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ، قَالاَ : كِلاَهُمَا قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ: لَيْسَ الشَّدِيدُ بِالصُّرَعَةِ إِنَّمَا الشَّدِيدُ الَّذِي يَمْلِكُ نَفْسَهُ عِنْدَ الْغَضَبِ.

It was narrated that Sulaiman bin Surad said: "Two men traded insults in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w). The eyes of one of them turned red and the veins on his neck stood out. The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'I know a word which, if he said it, what he is feeling would go away: A'udhu Billahi min ash-shaitanir-rajim (I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Shaitan).' The man said: 'Do you think I am possessed?"'

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ ، قَالَ يَحْيَى : أَخْبَرَنَا وقَالَ ابْنُ الْعَلاَءِ : حَدَّثَنَا ، أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ صُرَدٍ ، قَالَ : اسْتَبَّ رَجُلاَنِ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَجَعَلَ أَحَدُهُمَا تَحْمَرُّ عَيْنَاهُ وَتَنْتَفِخُ أَوْدَاجُهُ ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : إِنِّي لأَعْرِفُ كَلِمَةً لَوْ قَالَهَا لَذَهَبَ عَنْهُ الَّذِي يَجِدُ : أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ : وَهَلْ تَرَى بِي مِنْ جُنُونٍ ؟. قَالَ ابْنُ الْعَلاَءِ : فَقَالَ : وَهَلْ تَرَى ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ الرَّجُلَ.

It was narrated from Anas that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: "When Allah formed Adam in Paradise, He left him for as long as Allah willed He should leave him. Iblis started walking around him, looking at him, to see what he was. When he saw that he was hollow, he knew that he had been created in such a way that he would not be able to keep control."

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: لَمَّا صَوَّرَ اللَّهُ آدَمَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ تَرَكَهُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَتْرُكَهُ ، فَجَعَلَ إِبْلِيسُ يُطِيفُ بِهِ ، يَنْظُرُ مَا هُوَ ، فَلَمَّا رَآهُ أَجْوَفَ عَرَفَ أَنَّهُ خُلِقَ خَلْقًا لاَ يَتَمَالَكُ.

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'If one of you fights his brother, let him avoid the face.'"

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ بْنِ قَعْنَبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ يَعْنِي الْحِزَامِيَّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِذَا قَاتَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ فَلْيَجْتَنِبِ الْوَجْهَ.

It was narrated that Hisham bin Hakim bin Hizam said that he passed by some people in Ash-Sham who had been made to stand in the sun, and oil had been poured over their heads. He said: "What is this?" It was said: "They are being punished for not paying the Kharaj." He said: "But I heard the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) say: 'Allah will torment those who torment the people in this world."'

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَكِيمِ بْنِ حِزَامٍ ، قَالَ: مَرَّ بِالشَّامِ عَلَى أُنَاسٍ ، وَقَدْ أُقِيمُوا فِي الشَّمْسِ ، وَصُبَّ عَلَى رُؤُوسِهِمِ الزَّيْتُ ، فَقَالَ: مَا هَذَا ؟ قِيلَ: يُعَذَّبُونَ فِي الْخَرَاجِ ، فَقَالَ: أَمَا إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ: إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُعَذِّبُ الَّذِينَ يُعَذِّبُونَ النَّاسَ فِي الدُّنْيَا.

It was narrated from Hisham that his father said: "Hisham bin Hakim bin Hizam passed by some of the Anbat in Ash-Sham who had been made to stand in the sun. He said: "What is the matter with them?" They said: "They have been detained for (not paying) the Jizyah." Hisham said: "I bear witness that I heard the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) say: 'Allah will torment those who torment people in this world."'

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ: مَرَّ هِشَامُ بْنُ حَكِيمِ بْنِ حِزَامٍ عَلَى أُنَاسٍ مِنَ الأَنْبَاطِ بِالشَّامِ ، قَدْ أُقِيمُوا فِي الشَّمْسِ ، فَقَالَ: مَا شَأْنُهُمْ ؟ قَالُوا: حُبِسُوا فِي الْجِزْيَةِ ، فَقَالَ هِشَامٌ: أَشْهَدُ لَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ: إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُعَذِّبُ الَّذِينَ يُعَذِّبُونَ النَّاسَ فِي الدُّنْيَا.

It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that a man passed through the Masjid carrying an arrow with its point outwards. He was ordered to hold it by its point, so that it would not scratch any Muslim.

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى ، وَأَبُو الرَّبِيعِ ، قَالَ أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ : حَدَّثَنَا ، وقَالَ يَحْيَى وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ: أَخْبَرَنَا ، حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً مَرَّ بِأَسْهُمٍ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ، قَدْ أَبْدَى نُصُولَهَا ، فَأُمِرَ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ بِنُصُولِهَا ، كَيْ لاَ يَخْدِشَ مُسْلِمًا.

It was narrated from Abu Musa that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: "If one of you passes through a place of gathering or market with an arrow in his hand, let him hold it by its point, then let him hold it by its point, then let him hold it by its point." Abu Musa said: "By Allah, we were not doomed until we started to point arrows at one another's faces."

حَدَّثَنَا هَدَّابُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ: إِذَا مَرَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي مَجْلِسٍ ، أَوْ سُوقٍ ، وَبِيَدِهِ نَبْلٌ ، فَلْيَأْخُذْ بِنِصَالِهَا ، ثُمَّ لِيَأْخُذْ بِنِصَالِهَا ، ثُمَّ لِيَأْخُذْ بِنِصَالِهَا. قَالَ: فَقَالَ أَبُو مُوسَى: وَاللَّهِ مَا مُتْنَا حَتَّى سَدَّدْنَاهَا بَعْضُنَا فِي وُجُوهِ بَعْضٍ.

Abu Hurairah said: Abul-Qasim (s.a.w) said: "Whoever points at his brother with a piece of iron, the angels will curse him until he stops it, even if it is his brother through his father and mother."

حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ ، وَابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، قَالَ عَمْرٌو: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: مَنْ أَشَارَ إِلَى أَخِيهِ بِحَدِيدَةٍ، فَإِنَّ الْمَلاَئِكَةَ تَلْعَنُهُ، حَتَّى يَدَعَهُ وَ إِنْ كَانَ أَخَاهُ لأَبِيهِ وَأُمِّهِ.

It was narrated that Hammam bin Munabbih said: "This is what Abu Hurairah narrated to us from the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w)," - and he mentioned a number of Ahadith, including the following: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'None of you should point at his brother with a weapon, for you do not know, perhaps the Shaitan will cause his hand to slip (thereby killing someone), and he will fall into a ditch in the Fire."'

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ ، قَالَ : هَذَا مَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَذَكَرَ أَحَادِيثَ مِنْهَا: وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: لاَ يُشِيرُ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى أَخِيهِ بِالسِّلاَحِ ، فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَدْرِي أَحَدُكُمْ لَعَلَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَنْزِعُ فِي يَدِهِ فَيَقَعُ فِي حُفْرَةٍ مِنَ النَّارِ.
