وَ فِیْ عَادٍ اِذْ اَرْسَلْنَا عَلَیْهِمُ الرِّیْحَ الْعَقِیْمَۚ۝۴۱

In ´Ad (also is a sign), when We sent a blasting wind against them,

مَا تَذَرُ مِنْ شَیْءٍ اَتَتْ عَلَیْهِ اِلَّا جَعَلَتْهُ كَالرَّمِیْمِؕ۝۴۲

Which turned everything it touched to ashes.

وَ فِیْ ثَمُوْدَ اِذْ قِیْلَ لَهُمْ تَمَتَّعُوْا حَتّٰی حِیْنٍ۝۴۳

And in Thamud, when We said to them: "Enjoy yourselves for a while;"

فَعَتَوْا عَنْ اَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ فَاَخَذَتْهُمُ الصّٰعِقَةُ وَ هُمْ یَنْظُرُوْنَ۝۴۴

But they disobeyed the command of their Lord; so they were destroyed by a thunderbolt, and they could only gape,

فَمَا اسْتَطَاعُوْا مِنْ قِیَامٍ وَّ مَا كَانُوْا مُنْتَصِرِیْنَۙ۝۴۵

And neither stand up nor defend themselves.

وَ قَوْمَ نُوْحٍ مِّنْ قَبْلُ ؕ اِنَّهُمْ كَانُوْا قَوْمًا فٰسِقِیْنَ۠۝۴۶

(So had We destroyed) the people of Noah before them: They were surely a sinful people.

وَ السَّمَآءَ بَنَیْنٰهَا بِاَیْىدٍ وَّ اِنَّا لَمُوْسِعُوْنَ۝۴۷

We built the heavens by Our authority; and We are the Lord of power and expanse.

وَ الْاَرْضَ فَرَشْنٰهَا فَنِعْمَ الْمٰهِدُوْنَ۝۴۸

We spread the earth a carpet; what comfort We provide!

وَ مِنْ كُلِّ شَیْءٍ خَلَقْنَا زَوْجَیْنِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُوْنَ۝۴۹

And We created pairs of everything that you may contemplate.

فَفِرُّوْۤا اِلَی اللّٰهِ ؕ اِنِّیْ لَكُمْ مِّنْهُ نَذِیْرٌ مُّبِیْنٌۚ۝۵۰

So turn to God. I give you a clear warning from Him.
