Read Surah Al-Alaq

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

اِقْرَاْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِیْ خَلَقَۚ۝۱

READ IN THE name of your Lord who created,

خَلَقَ الْاِنْسَانَ مِنْ عَلَقٍۚ۝۲

Created man from an embryo;

اِقْرَاْ وَ رَبُّكَ الْاَكْرَمُۙ۝۳

Read, for your Lord is most beneficent,

الَّذِیْ عَلَّمَ بِالْقَلَمِۙ۝۴

Who taught by the pen,

عَلَّمَ الْاِنْسَانَ مَا لَمْ یَعْلَمْؕ۝۵

Taught man what he did not know.

كَلَّاۤ اِنَّ الْاِنْسَانَ لَیَطْغٰۤیۙ۝۶

And yet, but yet man is rebellious,

اَنْ رَّاٰهُ اسْتَغْنٰیؕ۝۷

For he thinks he is sufficient in himself.

اِنَّ اِلٰی رَبِّكَ الرُّجْعٰیؕ۝۸

Surely your returning is to your Lord.

اَرَءَیْتَ الَّذِیْ یَنْهٰیۙ۝۹

Have you seen him who restrains

عَبْدًا اِذَا صَلّٰیؕ۝۱۰

A votary when he turns to his devotions?
