Read All Ahadith In The Book Of muslim

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'The Angels send Salat upon any one of you so long as he remains in his spot, saying: "O Allah, forgive him; O Allah, have mercy on him," so long as he does not commit Hadath. And one of you is in a state of prayer so long as the prayer is keeping him there."'

وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِى عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ السَّخْتِيَانِىِّ عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « إِنَّ الْمَلاَئِكَةَ تُصَلِّى عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِى مَجْلِسِهِ تَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ وَأَحَدُكُمْ فِى صَلاَةٍ مَا كَانَتِ الصَّلاَةُ تَحْبِسُهُ ».

It was narrated from Abu Rafi', from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: "A person is in a state of prayer so long as he is in his prayer place waiting for the prayer, and the Angels say: 'O Allah, forgive him; O Allah, have mercy on him,' until he leaves or commits Hadath." I (Abu Rafi') said: "What does 'commit Hadath' mean?'' He said: "Breaking wind, either silently or loudly."

وَحَدَّثَنِى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَبِى رَافِعٍ عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- قَالَ « لاَ يَزَالُ الْعَبْدُ فِى صَلاَةٍ مَا كَانَ فِى مُصَلاَّهُ يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلاَةَ وَتَقُولُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ. حَتَّى يَنْصَرِفَ أَوْ يُحْدِثَ ». قُلْتُ مَا يُحْدِثُ قَالَ يَفْسُو أَوْ يَضْرِطُ.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: "One of you is still in a state of prayer so long as the prayer is keeping him there, and nothing is keeping him from going back to his family except the prayer."

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِى الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- قَالَ « لاَ يَزَالُ أَحَدُكُمْ فِى صَلاَةٍ مَا دَامَتِ الصَّلاَةُ تَحْبِسُهُ لاَ يَمْنَعُهُ أَنْ يَنْقَلِبَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ إِلاَّ الصَّلاَةُ ».

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: "If one of you sits waiting for the prayer, he is in a state of prayer so long as he does not commit Hadath, and the Angels pray for him, saying: 'O Allah, forgive him; O Allah, have mercy on him."'

حَدَّثَنِى حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِى يُونُسُ ح وَحَدَّثَنِى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ الْمُرَادِىُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنِ ابْنِ هُرْمُزَ عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- قَالَ « أَحَدُكُمْ مَا قَعَدَ يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلاَةَ فِى صَلاَةٍ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ تَدْعُو لَهُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ ».

It was narrated that Abu Musa said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'The people who will have the greatest reward for prayer will be those who walk the furthest distance to come and pray, then those who walk the next furthest. The one who waits for the prayer until he prays with the Imam will have a greater reward than the one who prays then sleeps." According to the report of Ibn Kuraib: "until he prays it with the Imam in congregation."

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَرَّادٍ الأَشْعَرِىُّ وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ بُرَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِى بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِى مُوسَى قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « إِنَّ أَعْظَمَ النَّاسِ أَجْرًا فِى الصَّلاَةِ أَبْعَدُهُمْ إِلَيْهَا مَمْشًى فَأَبْعَدُهُمْ وَالَّذِى يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلاَةَ حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَهَا مَعَ الإِمَامِ أَعْظَمُ أَجْرًا مِنَ الَّذِى يُصَلِّيهَا ثُمَّ يَنَامُ ». وَفِى رِوَايَةِ أَبِى كُرَيْبٍ « حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَهَا مَعَ الإِمَامِ فِى جَمَاعَةٍ ».

It was narrated that Ubayy bin Ka'b said: "There was a man - and I do not know of any man who lived further away from the Masjid than he did - but he never missed a prayer. It was said to him" - or: - "I said - [to him ] : 'Why don't you buy a donkey that you can ride when it is dark or when the sand is too hot?' He said: 'I would not like my house to be next to the Masjid. I want my walking to the Masjid and my returning when I come back to my family, to be recorded for me.' The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'Allah has gathered all that (reward) for you."'

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْثَرٌ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِىِّ عَنْ أَبِى عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِىِّ عَنْ أُبَىِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَجُلٌ لاَ أَعْلَمُ رَجُلاً أَبْعَدَ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ مِنْهُ وَكَانَ لاَ تُخْطِئُهُ صَلاَةٌ - قَالَ - فَقِيلَ لَهُ أَوْ قُلْتُ لَهُ لَوِ اشْتَرَيْتَ حِمَارًا تَرْكَبُهُ فِى الظَّلْمَاءِ وَفِى الرَّمْضَاءِ . قَالَ مَا يَسُرُّنِى أَنَّ مَنْزِلِى إِلَى جَنْبِ الْمَسْجِدِ إِنِّى أُرِيدُ أَنْ يُكْتَبَ لِى مَمْشَاىَ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ وَرُجُوعِى إِذَا رَجَعْتُ إِلَى أَهْلِى. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « قَدْ جَمَعَ اللَّهُ لَكَ ذَلِكَ كُلَّهُ ».

It was narrated that Ubayy bin Ka'b said: "There was a man among the Ansar whose house was the most remote house in Al-Madinah, but he never missed a prayer with the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w). We felt sorry for him, and I said to him: 'O so-and-so, why don't you buy a donkey to spare you from the burning sand and the reptiles of the land?' He said: 'By Allah, I would not like my house to be beside the house of Muhammad (s.a.w).' I thought that this was too much, so I brought him to the Prophet of Allah (s.a.w) and told him. So he called him and he told him about that, and mentioned that he hoped for reward for his footsteps. The Prophet (s.a.w) said to him: 'You will have that which you seek."'

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِى بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِىُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ عَنْ أَبِى عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أُبَىِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ بَيْتُهُ أَقْصَى بَيْتٍ فِى الْمَدِينَةِ فَكَانَ لاَ تُخْطِئُهُ الصَّلاَةُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- - قَالَ - فَتَوَجَّعْنَا لَهُ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ يَا فُلاَنُ لَوْ أَنَّكَ اشْتَرَيْتَ حِمَارًا يَقِيكَ مِنَ الرَّمْضَاءِ وَيَقِيكَ مِنْ هَوَامِّ الأَرْضِ. قَالَ أَمَا وَاللَّهِ مَا أُحِبُّ أَنَّ بَيْتِى مُطَنَّبٌ بِبَيْتِ مُحَمَّدٍ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- قَالَ فَحَمَلْتُ بِهِ حِمْلاً حَتَّى أَتَيْتُ نَبِىَّ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ - قَالَ - فَدَعَاهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ وَذَكَرَ لَهُ أَنَّهُ يَرْجُو فِى أَثَرِهِ الأَجْرَ. فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِىُّ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « إِنَّ لَكَ مَا احْتَسَبْتَ ».

Jabir bin 'Abdullah said: "Our houses were far away from the Masjid and we wanted to sell our houses and move nearer to the Masjid, but the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) told us not to do that, and said: 'For every step you will rise one degree in status."'

وَحَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الشَّاعِرِ حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّاءُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ كَانَتْ دِيَارُنَا نَائِيَةً عَنِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَأَرَدْنَا أَنْ نَبِيعَ بُيُوتَنَا فَنَقْتَرِبَ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ فَنَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- فَقَالَ « إِنَّ لَكُمْ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ دَرَجَةً ».

It was narrated that Jabir bin 'Abdullah said: "Some land around the Masjid became vacant, and Banu Salimah wanted to move to be close to the Masjid. News of that reached the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) and he said to them: 'I have heard that you want to move near the Masjid.' They said: 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah, we want to do that.' He said: 'O Banu Salimah, stay in your houses, your footsteps will be recorded· stay in your houses, you; footsteps will be recorded."'

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِى يُحَدِّثُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِى الْجُرَيْرِىُّ عَنْ أَبِى نَضْرَةَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ خَلَتِ الْبِقَاعُ حَوْلَ الْمَسْجِدِ فَأَرَادَ بَنُو سَلِمَةَ أَنْ يَنْتَقِلُوا إِلَى قُرْبِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- فَقَالَ لَهُمْ « إِنَّهُ بَلَغَنِى أَنَّكُمْ تُرِيدُونَ أَنْ تَنْتَقِلُوا قُرْبَ الْمَسْجِدِ ». قَالُوا نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَدْ أَرَدْنَا ذَلِكَ. فَقَالَ « يَا بَنِى سَلِمَةَ دِيَارَكُمْ تُكْتَبْ آثَارُكُمْ دِيَارَكُمْ تُكْتَبْ آثَارُكُمْ ».

It was narrated that Jabir bin 'Abdullah said: "Banu Salimah wanted to move close to the Masjid, as there was vacant land there. News of that reached the Prophet (s.a.w) and he said: 'O Banu Salimah, stay in your houses, your footsteps will be recorded.' They said: 'We would not be happier if we had moved."'

حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ التَّيْمِىُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ كَهْمَسًا يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِى نَضْرَةَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ أَرَادَ بَنُو سَلِمَةَ أَنْ يَتَحَوَّلُوا إِلَى قُرْبِ الْمَسْجِدِ. - قَالَ - وَالْبِقَاعُ خَالِيَةٌ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِىَّ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- فَقَالَ « يَا بَنِى سَلِمَةَ دِيَارَكُمْ تُكْتَبْ آثَارُكُمْ ». فَقَالُوا مَا كَانَ يَسُرُّنَا أَنَّا كُنَّا تَحَوَّلْنَا.
