Read All Ahadith In The Book Of muslim

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'Whoever purifies himself (i.e., performs Wudu') in his house, then walks to one of the houses of Allah in order to perform one of the duties enjoined by Allah, for every two steps he takes, one will erase a sin and the other will raise him one degree in status."'

حَدَّثَنِى إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ أَخْبَرَنَا زَكَرِيَّاءُ بْنُ عَدِىٍّ أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ - يَعْنِى ابْنَ عَمْرٍو - عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِى أُنَيْسَةَ عَنْ عَدِىِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَبِى حَازِمٍ الأَشْجَعِىِّ عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « مَنْ تَطَهَّرَ فِى بَيْتِهِ ثُمَّ مَشَى إِلَى بَيْتٍ مِنْ بُيُوتِ اللَّهِ لِيَقْضِىَ فَرِيضَةً مِنْ فَرَائِضِ اللَّهِ كَانَتْ خَطْوَتَاهُ إِحْدَاهُمَا تَحُطُّ خَطِيئَةً وَالأُخْرَى تَرْفَعُ دَرَجَةً ».

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said - according to the Hadith of Bakr, he heard the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) say - "What do you think, if there was a river by the door of one of you and he bathed in it five times a day, would any speck of dirt be left on him?" They said: "Not a speck of dirt would be left on him." He said: "That is the likeness of the five prayers, by means of which Allah erases sins."

وَحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ ح وَقَالَ قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرٌ - يَعْنِى ابْنَ مُضَرَ - كِلاَهُمَا عَنِ ابْنِ الْهَادِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِى سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- قَالَ وَفِى حَدِيثِ بَكْرٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- يَقُولُ « أَرَأَيْتُمْ لَوْ أَنَّ نَهْرًا بِبَابِ أَحَدِكُمْ يَغْتَسِلُ مِنْهُ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ خَمْسَ مَرَّاتٍ هَلْ يَبْقَى مِنْ دَرَنِهِ شَىْءٌ ». قَالُوا لاَ يَبْقَى مِنْ دَرَنِهِ شَىْءٌ.قَالَ « فَذَلِكَ مَثَلُ الصَّلَوَاتِ الْخَمْسِ يَمْحُو اللَّهُ بِهِنَّ الْخَطَايَا ».

It was narrated that Jabir bin 'Abdullah said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'The likeness of the five prayers is that of an abundant river flowing by the door of any one of you, in which he bathes five times every day."' Al-Hasan said: "Not a speck of dirt would be left."

وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِى شَيْبَةَ وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِى سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ - وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ - قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « مَثَلُ الصَّلَوَاتِ الْخَمْسِ كَمَثَلِ نَهَرٍ جَارٍ غَمْرٍ عَلَى بَابِ أَحَدِكُمْ يَغْتَسِلُ مِنْهُ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ خَمْسَ مَرَّاتٍ ». قَالَ قَالَ الْحَسَنُ وَمَا يُبْقِى ذَلِكَ مِنَ الدَّرَنِ.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (s.a.w) said: "Whoever goes to the Masjid in the morning or the evening, Allah prepares for him provision in Paradise every time he goes in the morning or evening."

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِى شَيْبَةَ وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِىِّ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « مَنْ غَدَا إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ أَوْ رَاحَ أَعَدَّ اللَّهُ لَهُ فِى الْجَنَّةِ نُزُلاً كُلَّمَا غَدَا أَوْ رَاحَ ».

It was narrated that Simak bin Harb said: "I said to Jabir bin Samurah: 'Did you sit with the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) ?' He said: 'Yes, frequently. He would not get up from the place in which he had prayed Subh' - or: 'Al-Ghadah' - 'until the sun had risen, and when the sun had risen he would get up. They used to chat and talk about matters of the Jahiliyah, and they would laugh but he(s.a.w) smiled."'

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يُونُسَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا سِمَاكٌ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى - وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ - قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِجَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ أَكُنْتَ تُجَالِسُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- قَالَ نَعَمْ كَثِيرًا كَانَ لاَ يَقُومُ مِنْ مُصَلاَّهُ الَّذِى يُصَلِّى فِيهِ الصُّبْحَ أَوِ الْغَدَاةَ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ فَإِذَا طَلَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ قَامَ وَكَانُوا يَتَحَدَّثُونَ فَيَأْخُذُونَ فِى أَمْرِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَيَضْحَكُونَ وَيَتَبَسَّمُ.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: "The most beloved land to Allah, may He be exalted, is the Masajid, and the most hated of land to Allah is the marketplaces."

وَحَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مُوسَى الأَنْصَارِىُّ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ - حَدَّثَنِى ابْنُ أَبِى ذُبَابٍ فِى رِوَايَةِ هَارُونَ - وَفِى حَدِيثِ الأَنْصَارِىِّ حَدَّثَنِى الْحَارِثُ - عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ مَوْلَى أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- قَالَ « أَحَبُّ الْبِلاَدِ إِلَى اللَّهِ مَسَاجِدُهَا وَأَبْغَضُ الْبِلاَدِ إِلَى اللَّهِ أَسْوَاقُهَا ».

It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'If there are three people, then let one lead them in prayer, and the one who is most entitled to lead them is the one who recites the most (Qur'an)."'

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِى نَضْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِى سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِىِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « إِذَا كَانُوا ثَلاَثَةً فَلْيَؤُمَّهُمْ أَحَدُهُمْ وَأَحَقُّهُمْ بِالإِمَامَةِ أَقْرَؤُهُمْ ».

It was narrated that Abu Mas'ud Al-Ansari said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'The people should be led (in prayers) by the one who has recite the most of the Book of Allah. If they are equal in recitation of the Qur'an, then by the one who has most knowledge of the Sunnah. If they are equal in knowledge of the Sunnah, then by the one who emigrated earlier. If they are equal in terms of emigration, then by the one who accepted Islam earlier. No man should lead another man in prayer in his place of authority, or sit in his place of honor in his house, without his permission."' Al-Ashajj said in his report, instead of the one who accepted Islam first, "the one who is older."

وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِى شَيْبَةَ وَأَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ كِلاَهُمَا عَنْ أَبِى خَالِدٍ - قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الأَحْمَرُ - عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ رَجَاءٍ عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ ضَمْعَجٍ عَنْ أَبِى مَسْعُودٍ الأَنْصَارِىِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « يَؤُمُّ الْقَوْمَ أَقْرَؤُهُمْ لِكِتَابِ اللَّهِ فَإِنْ كَانُوا فِى الْقِرَاءَةِ سَوَاءً فَأَعْلَمُهُمْ بِالسُّنَّةِ فَإِنْ كَانُوا فِى السُّنَّةِ سَوَاءً فَأَقْدَمُهُمْ هِجْرَةً فَإِنْ كَانُوا فِى الْهِجْرَةِ سَوَاءً فَأَقْدَمُهُمْ سِلْمًا وَلاَ يَؤُمَّنَّ الرَّجُلُ الرَّجُلَ فِى سُلْطَانِهِ وَلاَ يَقْعُدْ فِى بَيْتِهِ عَلَى تَكْرِمَتِهِ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِهِ ». قَالَ الأَشَجُّ فِى رِوَايَتِهِ مَكَانَ سِلْمًا سِنًّا.

It was narrated that Isma'il bin Raja' said: "I heard 'Aws bin Dam'aj say: 'I heard Abu Mas'ud say: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said to us: 'The people should be led in prayer by the one who recites the most of the Book of Allah and who has been reciting it for longer. If they are equal in recitation (of the Qur'an), then they should be led by the one who emigrated earlier. If they are equal in terms of emigration, then they should be led by the one who is oldest. Do not lead a man in prayer among his family nor in his place of authority, and do not sit in his place of honor in his house, unless he gives you permission," or "with his permission."

وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى وَابْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ رَجَاءٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَوْسَ بْنَ ضَمْعَجٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ يَقُولُ قَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « يَؤُمُّ الْقَوْمَ أَقْرَؤُهُمْ لِكِتَابِ اللَّهِ وَأَقْدَمُهُمْ قِرَاءَةً فَإِنْ كَانَتْ قِرَاءَتُهُمْ سَوَاءً فَلْيَؤُمَّهُمْ أَقْدَمُهُمْ هِجْرَةً فَإِنْ كَانُوا فِى الْهِجْرَةِ سَوَاءً فَلْيَؤُمَّهُمْ أَكْبَرُهُمْ سِنًّا وَلاَ تَؤُمَّنَّ الرَّجُلَ فِى أَهْلِهِ وَلاَ فِى سُلْطَانِهِ وَلاَ تَجْلِسْ عَلَى تَكْرِمَتِهِ فِى بَيْتِهِ إِلاَّ أَنْ يَأْذَنَ لَكَ أَوْ بِإِذْنِهِ ».

It was narrated that Malik bin Al-Huwairith said: "We came to the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) and we were young men who were close in age, and we stayed with him for twenty nights. The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) was compassionate and kind, and he thought that we were missing our families, so he asked us about those whom we had left behind, and we told him about our families. He said: 'Go back to your families and stay with them; teach them and exhort them. When the time for prayer is due, let one of you call the Adhan and let the oldest of you lead you in prayer."'

وَحَدَّثَنِى زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ أَبِى قِلاَبَةَ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْحُوَيْرِثِ قَالَ أَتَيْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- وَنَحْنُ شَبَبَةٌ مُتَقَارِبُونَ فَأَقَمْنَا عِنْدَهُ عِشْرِينَ لَيْلَةً وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- رَحِيمًا رَقِيقًا فَظَنَّ أَنَّا قَدِ اشْتَقْنَا أَهْلَنَا فَسَأَلَنَا عَنْ مَنْ تَرَكْنَا مِنْ أَهْلِنَا فَأَخْبَرْنَاهُ فَقَالَ « ارْجِعُوا إِلَى أَهْلِيكُمْ فَأَقِيمُوا فِيهِمْ وَعَلِّمُوهُمْ وَمُرُوهُمْ فَإِذَا حَضَرَتِ الصَّلاَةُ فَلْيُؤَذِّنْ لَكُمْ أَحَدُكُمْ ثُمَّ لْيَؤُمَّكُمْ أَكْبَرُكُمْ ».
