وَ اِنْ لَّمْ تُؤْمِنُوْا لِیْ فَاعْتَزِلُوْنِ۝۲۱

If you do not believe in me, leave me alone."

فَدَعَا رَبَّهٗۤ اَنَّ هٰۤؤُلَآءِ قَوْمٌ مُّجْرِمُوْنَ۝۲۲

Then he called to his Lord: "These are a sinful people."

فَاَسْرِ بِعِبَادِیْ لَیْلًا اِنَّكُمْ مُّتَّبَعُوْنَۙ۝۲۳

"Journey by night with My devotees," (it was said); "you will certainly be pursued.

وَ اتْرُكِ الْبَحْرَ رَهْوًا ؕ اِنَّهُمْ جُنْدٌ مُّغْرَقُوْنَ۝۲۴

(Cross and) leave the sea undisturbed. The (pursuing) hosts will surely be drowned,"

كَمْ تَرَكُوْا مِنْ جَنّٰتٍ وَّ عُیُوْنٍۙ۝۲۵

How many gardens and fountains did they leave behind,

وَّ زُرُوْعٍ وَّ مَقَامٍ كَرِیْمٍۙ۝۲۶

And fields and stately mansions,

وَّ نَعْمَةٍ كَانُوْا فِیْهَا فٰكِهِیْنَۙ۝۲۷

And the comfort they enjoyed.

كَذٰلِكَ ۫ وَ اَوْرَثْنٰهَا قَوْمًا اٰخَرِیْنَ۝۲۸

Thus it was; and We passed them on to another people.

فَمَا بَكَتْ عَلَیْهِمُ السَّمَآءُ وَ الْاَرْضُ وَ مَا كَانُوْا مُنْظَرِیْنَ۠۝۲۹

Neither did the heavens weep for them, nor the earth, nor were they granted respite.

وَ لَقَدْ نَجَّیْنَا بَنِیْۤ اِسْرَآءِیْلَ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ الْمُهِیْنِۙ۝۳۰

So We saved the children of Israel from degrading suffering
