اِنِّیْ جَزَیْتُهُمُ الْیَوْمَ بِمَا صَبَرُوْۤا ۙ اَنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْفَآىِٕزُوْنَ۝۱۱۱

I have rewarded them this day for they were constant, and they have come to attainment."

قٰلَ كَمْ لَبِثْتُمْ فِی الْاَرْضِ عَدَدَ سِنِیْنَ۝۱۱۲

They will be asked: "How long did you live on the earth in terms of years?"

قَالُوْا لَبِثْنَا یَوْمًا اَوْ بَعْضَ یَوْمٍ فَسْـَٔلِ الْعَآدِّیْنَ۝۱۱۳

They will say: "A day or less than a day. Ask the enumerators of numbers."

قٰلَ اِنْ لَّبِثْتُمْ اِلَّا قَلِیْلًا لَّوْ اَنَّكُمْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُوْنَ۝۱۱۴

He will say: "You stayed there only a moment, if you knew.

اَفَحَسِبْتُمْ اَنَّمَا خَلَقْنٰكُمْ عَبَثًا وَّ اَنَّكُمْ اِلَیْنَا لَا تُرْجَعُوْنَ۝۱۱۵

Do you think We created you for nothing, and that you will not return to Us?"

فَتَعٰلَی اللّٰهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَقُّ ۚ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ ۚ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِیْمِ۝۱۱۶

Exalted then be God, the King, the Real. There is no god but He, the Lord of the glorious throne.

وَ مَنْ یَّدْعُ مَعَ اللّٰهِ اِلٰهًا اٰخَرَ ۙ لَا بُرْهَانَ لَهٗ بِهٖ ۙ فَاِنَّمَا حِسَابُهٗ عِنْدَ رَبِّهٖ ؕ اِنَّهٗ لَا یُفْلِحُ الْكٰفِرُوْنَ۝۱۱۷

Whoever worships another god apart from God, for which he holds no proof, will have to account for it before his Lord. Verily the unbelievers will not prosper.

وَ قُلْ رَّبِّ اغْفِرْ وَ ارْحَمْ وَ اَنْتَ خَیْرُ الرّٰحِمِیْنَ۠۝۱۱۸

Say: "My Lord, forgive and have mercy. You are the best of the merciful."
