Read All Ahadith In The Book Of muslim

It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas that he saw 'Abdullah bin Al-Harith offering prayers, and his hair was braided at the back. He went and started to undo it. When he finished prayers, he turned to Ibn 'Abbas and said: "What are you doing to my hair?" He said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) say: 'The likeness of this one is that of a man who prays with his hands tied."'

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ سَوَّادٍ الْعَامِرِىُّ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّ بُكَيْرًا حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ كُرَيْبًا مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ رَأَى عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ الْحَارِثِ يُصَلِّى وَرَأْسُهُ مَعْقُوصٌ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ فَقَامَ فَجَعَلَ يَحُلُّهُ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ أَقْبَلَ إِلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فَقَالَ مَا لَكَ وَرَأْسِى فَقَالَ إِنِّى سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- يَقُولُ « إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ هَذَا مَثَلُ الَّذِى يُصَلِّى وَهُوَ مَكْتُوفٌ ».

It was narrated that Anas said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'Be moderate in prostration; none of you should spread his forearms (along the ground) like a dog."'

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِى شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « اعْتَدِلُوا فِى السُّجُودِ وَلاَ يَبْسُطْ أَحَدُكُمْ ذِرَاعَيْهِ انْبِسَاطَ الْكَلْبِ ».

It was narrated that Al-Bara' said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'When you prostrate, place your palms (on the ground) and raise your elbows.'"

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِيَادٍ عَنْ إِيَادٍ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « إِذَا سَجَدْتَ فَضَعْ كَفَّيْكَ وَارْفَعْ مِرْفَقَيْكَ ».

It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Malik bin Buhainah that when the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) prayed, (in prostration) he would spread his arms out so much that the whiteness of his armpits could be seen.

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرٌ - وَهُوَ ابْنُ مُضَرَ - عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ابْنِ بُحَيْنَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- كَانَ إِذَا صَلَّى فَرَّجَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ بَيَاضُ إِبْطَيْهِ.

It was narrated from Ja'far bin Rabi'ah, with this chain. According to the report of 'Amr bin Al-Laith, when the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) prostrated, he would keep his arms so far apart that the whiteness of his armpits could be seen. According to the report of Al-Laith, "When the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) prostrated, he spread his arms so far out from his armpits that I could see the whiteness of his armpits."

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ سَوَّادٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ وَاللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ كِلاَهُمَا عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ. وَفِى رِوَايَةِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- إِذَا سَجَدَ يُجَنِّحُ فِى سُجُودِهِ حَتَّى يُرَى وَضَحُ إِبْطَيْهِ. وَفِى رِوَايَةِ اللَّيْثِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- كَانَ إِذَا سَجَدَ فَرَّجَ يَدَيْهِ عَنْ إِبْطَيْهِ حَتَّى إِنِّى لأَرَى بَيَاضَ إِبْطَيْهِ.

It was narrated that Maimunah, the wife of the Prophet (s.a.w), said: "When the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) prostrated, he kept his arms so far apart that the whiteness of his armpits could be seen from behind, and when he sat he rested on his left thigh."

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَنْظَلِىُّ أَخْبَرَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْفَزَارِىُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الأَصَمِّ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الأَصَمِّ أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِىِّ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- إِذَا سَجَدَ خَوَّى بِيَدَيْهِ - يَعْنِى جَنَّحَ - حَتَّى يُرَى وَضَحُ إِبْطَيْهِ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ وَإِذَا قَعَدَ اطْمَأَنَّ عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُسْرَى.

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) used to start his prayer with the Takbir and the recitation of Al-hamdu Lillahi Rabbil 'Alamin. When he bowed he neither kept his head up nor lowered it, but it was somewhere between the two. When he raised his head from bowing, he did not prostrate until he had stood up straight, and when he raised his head from prostrating, he did not prostrate again until he had sat up straight. After each two Rak'ah he would recite At-Tahiyyah. He would lay his left foot along the ground and hold his right foot upright. He forbade 'Uqbatish-Shaitan and he forbade resting one's forearms along the ground like a predator. And he used to conclude his prayer with the Taslim." According to the report of Ibn Numair from Abu Khalid: "And he forbade 'Aqibi Shaitan."

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ - يَعْنِى الأَحْمَرَ - عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ الْمُعَلِّمِ ح قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ - وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ - قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ عَنْ بُدَيْلِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ عَنْ أَبِى الْجَوْزَاءِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- يَسْتَفْتِحُ الصَّلاَةَ بِالتَّكْبِيرِ وَالْقِرَاءَةَ بِ (الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ) وَكَانَ إِذَا رَكَعَ لَمْ يُشْخِصْ رَأْسَهُ وَلَمْ يُصَوِّبْهُ وَلِكَنْ بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ وَكَانَ إِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ لَمْ يَسْجُدْ حَتَّى يَسْتَوِىَ قَائِمًا وَكَانَ إِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ السَّجْدَةِ لَمْ يَسْجُدْ حَتَّى يَسْتَوِىَ جَالِسًا وَكَانَ يَقُولُ فِى كُلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ التَّحِيَّةَ وَكَانَ يَفْرِشُ رِجْلَهُ الْيُسْرَى وَيَنْصِبُ رِجْلَهُ الْيُمْنَى وَكَانَ يَنْهَى عَنْ عُقْبَةِ الشَّيْطَانِ وَيَنْهَى أَنْ يَفْتَرِشَ الرَّجُلُ ذِرَاعَيْهِ افْتِرَاشَ السَّبُعِ وَكَانَ يَخْتِمُ الصَّلاَةَ بِالتَّسْلِيمِ.وَفِى رِوَايَةِ ابْنِ نُمَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِى خَالِدٍ وَكَانَ يَنْهَى عَنْ عَقِبِ الشَّيْطَانِ.

It was narrated from Musa bin Talhah that his father said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'When one of you places something like the back of a saddle in front of him (as a Sutra), let him pray and not worry about whoever passes beyond that."

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِى شَيْبَةَ قَالَ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا وَقَالَ الآخَرَانِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « إِذَا وَضَعَ أَحَدُكُمْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِثْلَ مُؤْخِرَةِ الرَّحْلِ فَلْيُصَلِّ وَلاَ يُبَالِ مَنْ مَرَّ وَرَاءَ ذَلِكَ ».

It was narrated from Musa bin Talhah that his father said: "We were offering Salat and animals were passing in front of us. We mentioned that to the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) and he said: 'Let one of you put something like the back of a saddle in front of him, then it will not matter whatever passes in front of him."' Ibn Numair said: "It will not matter whoever passes in front of him."

وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ أَخْبَرَنَا وَقَالَ ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الطَّنَافِسِىُّ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ كُنَّا نُصَلِّى وَالدَّوَابُّ تَمُرُّ بَيْنَ أَيْدِينَا فَذَكَرْنَا ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- فَقَالَ « مِثْلُ مُؤْخِرَةِ الرَّحْلِ تَكُونُ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ أَحَدِكُمْ ثُمَّ لاَ يَضُرُّهُ مَا مَرَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ ». وَقَالَ ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ « فَلاَ يَضُرُّهُ مَنْ مَرَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ ».

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) was asked about the Sutrah (screen) for one who is praying. He said:'Like the back of a saddle."'

حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِى أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِى الأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- عَنْ سُتْرَةِ الْمُصَلِّى فَقَالَ « مِثْلُ مُؤْخِرَةِ الرَّحْلِ ».
