حٰمٓۚۛ۝۱

HA MIM.

وَ الْكِتٰبِ الْمُبِیْنِۙۛ۝۲

The perspicuous Book is witness

اِنَّاۤ اَنْزَلْنٰهُ فِیْ لَیْلَةٍ مُّبٰرَكَةٍ اِنَّا كُنَّا مُنْذِرِیْنَ۝۳

(That) We sent it down one night of blessing -- so that We could warn --

فِیْهَا یُفْرَقُ كُلُّ اَمْرٍ حَكِیْمٍۙ۝۴

On which all affairs are sorted out and decided

اَمْرًا مِّنْ عِنْدِنَا ؕ اِنَّا كُنَّا مُرْسِلِیْنَۚ۝۵

As commands from Us. It is indeed We who send (messengers),

رَحْمَةً مِّنْ رَّبِّكَ ؕ اِنَّهٗ هُوَ السَّمِیْعُ الْعَلِیْمُۙ۝۶

A mercy from your Lord. Verily He is all-hearing and all-knowing,

رَبِّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَرْضِ وَ مَا بَیْنَهُمَا ۘ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُّوْقِنِیْنَ۝۷

The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, if you really do believe.

لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ یُحْیٖ وَ یُمِیْتُ ؕ رَبُّكُمْ وَ رَبُّ اٰبَآىِٕكُمُ الْاَوَّلِیْنَ۝۸

There is no god other than He, who gives you life and death, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of old.

بَلْ هُمْ فِیْ شَكٍّ یَّلْعَبُوْنَ۝۹

Yet they are lost in doubt and play.

فَارْتَقِبْ یَوْمَ تَاْتِی السَّمَآءُ بِدُخَانٍ مُّبِیْنٍۙ۝۱۰

So watch for the day when the sky begins to emit clear smoke,
