فَبَشَّرْنٰهُ بِغُلٰمٍ حَلِیْمٍ۝۱۰۱

So We gave him the good news of a clement son.

فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ السَّعْیَ قَالَ یٰبُنَیَّ اِنِّیْۤ اَرٰی فِی الْمَنَامِ اَنِّیْۤ اَذْبَحُكَ فَانْظُرْ مَا ذَا تَرٰی ؕ قَالَ یٰۤاَبَتِ افْعَلْ مَا تُؤْمَرُ ؗ سَتَجِدُنِیْۤ اِنْ شَآءَ اللّٰهُ مِنَ الصّٰبِرِیْنَ۝۱۰۲

When he was old enough to go about with him, he said: "O my son, I dreamt that I was sacrificing you. Consider, what you think?" He replied: "Father, do as you are commanded. If God pleases you will find me firm."

فَلَمَّاۤ اَسْلَمَا وَ تَلَّهٗ لِلْجَبِیْنِۚ۝۱۰۳

When they submitted to the will of God, and (Abraham) laid (his son) down prostrate on his temple,

وَ نَادَیْنٰهُ اَنْ یّٰۤاِبْرٰهِیْمُۙ۝۱۰۴

We called out: "O Abraham,

قَدْ صَدَّقْتَ الرُّءْیَا ۚ اِنَّا كَذٰلِكَ نَجْزِی الْمُحْسِنِیْنَ۝۱۰۵

You have fulfilled your dream." Thus do We reward the good.

اِنَّ هٰذَا لَهُوَ الْبَلٰٓؤُا الْمُبِیْنُ۝۱۰۶

That was indeed a trying test.

وَ فَدَیْنٰهُ بِذِبْحٍ عَظِیْمٍ۝۱۰۷

So We ransomed him for a great sacrifice,

وَ تَرَكْنَا عَلَیْهِ فِی الْاٰخِرِیْنَۖ۝۱۰۸

And left (his hallowed memory) for posterity.

سَلٰمٌ عَلٰۤی اِبْرٰهِیْمَ۝۱۰۹

Peace be on Abraham.

اِنَّهٗ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ۝۱۱۱

He is truly among Our faithful creatures.
