وَ لَا صَدِیْقٍ حَمِیْمٍ۝۱۰۱

Nor any sincere friend.

فَلَوْ اَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةً فَنَكُوْنَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ۝۱۰۲

If only we could return and be among the believers!"

اِنَّ فِیْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰیَةً ؕ وَ مَا كَانَ اَكْثَرُهُمْ مُّؤْمِنِیْنَ۝۱۰۳

Verily there is a sign in this, but many of them do not believe.

وَ اِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِیْزُ الرَّحِیْمُ۠۝۱۰۴

Verily your Lord is mighty and merciful.

كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ نُوْحِ ِ۟الْمُرْسَلِیْنَۚۖ۝۱۰۵

The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies.

اِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ اَخُوْهُمْ نُوْحٌ اَلَا تَتَّقُوْنَۚ۝۱۰۶

When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed?

اِنِّیْ لَكُمْ رَسُوْلٌ اَمِیْنٌۙ۝۱۷۸

I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you.

فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَ اَطِیْعُوْنِۚ۝۱۰۸

So be fearful of God and listen to me.

وَ مَاۤ اَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَیْهِ مِنْ اَجْرٍ ۚ اِنْ اَجْرِیَ اِلَّا عَلٰی رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَؕ۝۱۲۷

I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds.

فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَ اَطِیْعُوْنِؕ۝۱۱۰

So fear God and follow me."
