قَالُوْا رَبَّنَا مَنْ قَدَّمَ لَنَا هٰذَا فَزِدْهُ عَذَابًا ضِعْفًا فِی النَّارِ۝۶۱

They will say: "O Lord, give him who has brought this upon us two times more the torment of Hell;"

وَ قَالُوْا مَا لَنَا لَا نَرٰی رِجَالًا كُنَّا نَعُدُّهُمْ مِّنَ الْاَشْرَارِؕ۝۶۲

And will add: "O what has happened to us that we do not see the men we counted among the wicked.

اَتَّخَذْنٰهُمْ سِخْرِیًّا اَمْ زَاغَتْ عَنْهُمُ الْاَبْصَارُ۝۶۳

Did we laugh at them (for nothing), or our eyes fail to pick them out?"

اِنَّ ذٰلِكَ لَحَقٌّ تَخَاصُمُ اَهْلِ النَّارِ۠۝۶۴

This contending of the inmates of Hell will surely be real.

قُلْ اِنَّمَاۤ اَنَا مُنْذِرٌ ۖۗ وَّ مَا مِنْ اِلٰهٍ اِلَّا اللّٰهُ الْوَاحِدُ الْقَهَّارُۚ۝۶۵

Say: "I am only a warner, and there is no other god but God, the one, the omnipotent,

رَبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَرْضِ وَ مَا بَیْنَهُمَا الْعَزِیْزُ الْغَفَّارُ۝۶۶

Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving."

قُلْ هُوَ نَبَؤٌا عَظِیْمٌۙ۝۶۷

Say: "This is a momentous message,

اَنْتُمْ عَنْهُ مُعْرِضُوْنَ۝۶۸

To which you pay no heed.

مَا كَانَ لِیَ مِنْ عِلْمٍۭ بِالْمَلَاِ الْاَعْلٰۤی اِذْ یَخْتَصِمُوْنَ۝۶۹

I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves.

اِنْ یُّوْحٰۤی اِلَیَّ اِلَّاۤ اَنَّمَاۤ اَنَا نَذِیْرٌ مُّبِیْنٌ۝۷۰

Only this has been revealed to me that I am a distinct warner.
