اِلٰی یَوْمِ الْوَقْتِ الْمَعْلُوْمِ۝۸۱

Till the appointed day."

قَالَ فَبِعِزَّتِكَ لَاُغْوِیَنَّهُمْ اَجْمَعِیْنَۙ۝۸۲

He said: "By Your authority, I will lead them astray,

اِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنْهُمُ الْمُخْلَصِیْنَ۝۸۳

Other than the chosen ones among Your creatures."

قَالَ فَالْحَقُّ ؗ وَ الْحَقَّ اَقُوْلُۚ۝۸۴

(God) said: "This is right by Me, and what I say is right.

لَاَمْلَـَٔنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنْكَ وَ مِمَّنْ تَبِعَكَ مِنْهُمْ اَجْمَعِیْنَ۝۸۵

I will fill up Hell with you together with those who follow you."

قُلْ مَاۤ اَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَیْهِ مِنْ اَجْرٍ وَّ مَاۤ اَنَا مِنَ الْمُتَكَلِّفِیْنَ۝۸۶

Say: "I do not ask any compensation of you for it, nor am I a specious pretender.

اِنْ هُوَ اِلَّا ذِكْرٌ لِّلْعٰلَمِیْنَ۝۸۷

This is only a warning for mankind.

وَ لَتَعْلَمُنَّ نَبَاَهٗ بَعْدَ حِیْنٍ۠۝۸۸

You will come to know its truth in time."
