Read All Ahadith In The Book Of muslim

It was narrated from Yahya bin Abi Ishaq, from Anas bin Malik, who said: "We went out with the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) from Al-Madinah to Makkah, and he offered his prayer with two Rak'ah until he returned." I said: "How long did he stay in Makkah?" He said: "Ten days."

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى التَّمِيمِىُّ أَخْبَرَنَا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِى إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ إِلَى مَكَّةَ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ حَتَّى رَجَعَ. قُلْتُ كَمْ أَقَامَ بِمَكَّةَ قَالَ عَشْرًا.

It was narrated from Salim bin 'Abdullah, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) prayed as a traveler in Mina and elsewhere, with two Rak'ah. Abu Bakr and 'Umar also prayed with two Rak'ah, as did 'Uthman at the beginning of his Khilafah (reign), then he completed it and made it four Rak'ah.

وَحَدَّثَنِى حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِى عَمْرٌو وَهُوَ ابْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- أَنَّهُ صَلَّى صَلاَةَ الْمُسَافِرِ بِمِنًى وَغَيْرِهِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ صَدْرًا مِنْ خِلاَفَتِهِ ثُمَّ أَتَمَّهَا أَرْبَعًا.

It was narrated from Nafi', that Ibn 'Umar said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) prayed two Rak'ah in Mina, as did Abu Bakr after him, and 'Umar after Abu Bakr, and 'Uthman at the beginning of his Khilafah, then after that 'Uthman prayed four." When Ibn 'Umar prayed with the Imam, he prayed four, but when he prayed alone he prayed two Rak'ah.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِى شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- بِمِنًى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ بَعْدَهُ وَعُمَرُ بَعْدَ أَبِى بَكْرٍ وَعُثْمَانُ صَدْرًا مِنْ خِلاَفَتِهِ ثُمَّ إِنَّ عُثْمَانَ صَلَّى بَعْدُ أَرْبَعًا. فَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ إِذَا صَلَّى مَعَ الإِمَامِ صَلَّى أَرْبَعًا وَإِذَا صَلاَّهَا وَحْدَهُ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ.

It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: "The Prophet (s.a.w) prayed in Mina as a traveler, as did Abu Bakr and 'Umar, and 'Uthman for eight years - or six years." Hafs said: "Ibn 'Umar used to pray two Rak'ah in Mina, then he would go to his bed. I said: 'O uncle, why don't you pray two Rak'ah after it?' He said: 'If I wanted to do that I should have completed the prayer."'

وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِى حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ سَمِعَ حَفْصَ بْنَ عَاصِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ صَلَّى النَّبِىُّ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- بِمِنًى صَلاَةَ الْمُسَافِرِ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ ثَمَانِىَ سِنِينَ أَوْ قَالَ سِتَّ سِنِينَ. قَالَ حَفْصٌ وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يُصَلِّى بِمِنًى رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ يَأْتِى فِرَاشَهُ. فَقُلْتُ أَىْ عَمِّ لَوْ صَلَّيْتَ بَعْدَهَا رَكْعَتَيْنِ. قَالَ لَوْ فَعَلْتُ لأَتْمَمْتُ الصَّلاَةَ.

Ibrahim said: "I heard 'Abdur-Rahman bin Yazid say: "Uthman led us in prayer at Mina with four Rak'ah.' 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud was told about that and he said: '(Indeed we are Allah's and to Him shall we return.)' Then he said: 'I prayed two Rak'ah with the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) in Mina, and I prayed two Rak'ah with Abu Bakr As-Siddiq in Mina, and I prayed two Rak'ah with 'Umar bin Al-Khattab in Mina I wish I had of these four Rak'ah two that are accepted."'

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ يَزِيدَ يَقُولُ صَلَّى بِنَا عُثْمَانُ بِمِنًى أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ فَقِيلَ ذَلِكَ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ فَاسْتَرْجَعَ ثُمَّ قَالَ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- بِمِنًى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَصَلَّيْتُ مَعَ أَبِى بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ بِمِنًى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَصَلَّيْتُ مَعَ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ بِمِنًى رَكْعَتَيْنِ فَلَيْتَ حَظِّى مِنْ أَرْبَعِ رَكَعَاتٍ رَكْعَتَانِ مُتَقَبَّلَتَانِ.

Harithah bin Wahb Al-Khuza'i said: "I prayed behind the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) in Mina, and there was the greatest number of people, and he prayed two Rak'ah during the Farewell Pilgrimage." Muslim said: Harithah bin Wahb Al-Khuza'i is the brother of 'Ubaidullah bin 'Umar bin Al-Khattab, through his mother.

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يُونُسَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنِى حَارِثَةُ بْنُ وَهْبٍ الْخُزَاعِىُّ قَالَ صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- بِمِنًى وَالنَّاسُ أَكْثَرُ مَا كَانُوا فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ فِى حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ. قَالَ مُسْلِمٌ حَارِثَةُ بْنُ وَهْبٍ الْخُزَاعِىُّ هُوَ أَخُو عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ لأُمِّهِ.

It was narrated from Nafi' that Ibn 'Umar called the Adhan on a cold and windy night, and said: "Pray in your encampments." Then he said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) used to order the Mu'adhdhin, if it was a cold and rainy night, to say: 'Pray in your encampments."'

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ أَذَّنَ بِالصَّلاَةِ فِى لَيْلَةٍ ذَاتِ بَرْدٍ وَرِيحٍ فَقَالَ أَلاَ صَلُّوا فِى الرِّحَالِ. ثُمَّ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- يَأْمُرُ الْمُؤَذِّنَ إِذَا كَانَتْ لَيْلَةٌ بَارِدَةٌ ذَاتُ مَطَرٍ يَقُولُ « أَلاَ صَلُّوا فِى الرِّحَالِ ».

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that he gave the call to prayer on a cold, windy and rainy night, and at the end of his call he said: "Pray in your encampments, pray in your encampments." Then he said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) used to order the Mu'adhdhin, if it was a cold or rainy night during a journey, to say: 'Pray in your encampments."'

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِى حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِى نَافِعٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ نَادَى بِالصَّلاَةِ فِى لَيْلَةٍ ذَاتِ بَرْدٍ وَرِيحٍ وَمَطَرٍ فَقَالَ فِى آخِرِ نِدَائِهِ أَلاَ صَلُّوا فِى رِحَالِكُمْ أَلاَ صَلُّوا فِى الرِّحَالِ.ثُمَّ قَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- كَانَ يَأْمُرُ الْمُؤَذِّنَ إِذَا كَانَتْ لَيْلَةٌ بَارِدَةٌ أَوْ ذَاتُ مَطَرٍ فِى السَّفَرِ أَنْ يَقُولَ أَلاَ صَلُّوا فِى رِحَالِكُمْ.

It was narrated that Jabir said: "We went out with the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) on a journey and it rained. He said: 'Whoever among you wants to, let him pray in his encampments."'

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِى الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- فِى سَفَرٍ فَمُطِرْنَا فَقَالَ « لِيُصَلِّ مَنْ شَاءَ مِنْكُمْ فِى رَحْلِهِ ».

It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas said to his Mu'adhdhin on a rainy day: "When you say: 'I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah,' do not say, 'Come to prayer,' rather say: 'Pray in your dwellings."' It was as if the people found that strange, so he said: "Are you surprised by that? One who is better than me did that (i.e., The Prophet (s.a.w)). Jumu'ah is obligatory, but I did not want to force you to walk in the mud and on slippery ground."

وَحَدَّثَنِى عَلِىُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ السَّعْدِىُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ صَاحِبِ الزِّيَادِىِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِمُؤَذِّنِهِ فِى يَوْمٍ مَطِيرٍ إِذَا قُلْتَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فَلاَ تَقُلْ حَىَّ عَلَى الصَّلاَةِ قُلْ صَلُّوا فِى بُيُوتِكُمْ - قَالَ - فَكَأَنَّ النَّاسَ اسْتَنْكَرُوا ذَاكَ فَقَالَ أَتَعْجَبُونَ مِنْ ذَا قَدْ فَعَلَ ذَا مَنْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنِّى إِنَّ الْجُمُعَةَ عَزْمَةٌ وَإِنِّى كَرِهْتُ أَنْ أُحْرِجَكُمْ فَتَمْشُوا فِى الطِّينِ وَالدَّحْضِ.
