فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَ اَطِیْعُوْنِۚ۝۱۷۹

So fear God and follow me.

وَ مَاۤ اَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَیْهِ مِنْ اَجْرٍ ۚ اِنْ اَجْرِیَ اِلَّا عَلٰی رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَؕ۝۱۴۵

I do not ask any recompense of you for this. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds.

اَتُتْرَكُوْنَ فِیْ مَا هٰهُنَاۤ اٰمِنِیْنَۙ۝۱۴۶

(Do you think) you will be left secure here

فِیْ جَنّٰتٍ وَّ عُیُوْنٍۙ۝۱۴۷

In these gardens and these springs,

وَّ زُرُوْعٍ وَّ نَخْلٍ طَلْعُهَا هَضِیْمٌۚ۝۱۴۸

The fields of corn and date-palm trees with soft and tender spathes,

وَ تَنْحِتُوْنَ مِنَ الْجِبَالِ بُیُوْتًا فٰرِهِیْنَۚ۝۱۴۹

And dwellings hewed out of mountains ingeniously?

فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَ اَطِیْعُوْنِۚ۝۱۵۰

So be mindful of God and listen to me.

وَ لَا تُطِیْعُوْۤا اَمْرَ الْمُسْرِفِیْنَۙ۝۱۵۱

Do not follow those who are extravagant,

الَّذِیْنَ یُفْسِدُوْنَ فِی الْاَرْضِ وَ لَا یُصْلِحُوْنَ۝۱۵۲

Who corrupt the land and do not reform it."

قَالُوْۤا اِنَّمَاۤ اَنْتَ مِنَ الْمُسَحَّرِیْنَۙ۝۱۸۵

They said: "Surely you are deluded.
