Read All Ahadith In The Book Of muslim

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah [May Allah pleased with him] that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “When Ramadan comes, the gates of Paradise are opened and gates of the Fire are closed, and the devils are fettered.”

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ وَقُتَيْبَةُ وَابْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ - وَهُوَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ - عَنْ أَبِى سُهَيْلٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ - رضى الله عنه - أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- قَالَ « إِذَا جَاءَ رَمَضَانُ فُتِّحَتْ أَبْوَابُ الْجَنَّةِ وَغُلِّقَتْ أَبْوَابُ النَّارِ وَصُفِّدَتِ الشَّيَاطِينُ ».

Abu Hurairah [May Allah pleased with him] said: “The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: ‘When Ramadan comes, the gates of mercy are opened and gates of Hell are shut, and the devils are put in chain.”

وَحَدَّثَنِى حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِى يُونُسُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِى أَنَسٍ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ - رضى الله عنه - يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « إِذَا كَانَ رَمَضَانُ فُتِّحَتْ أَبْوَابُ الرَّحْمَةِ وَغُلِّقَتْ أَبْوَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَسُلْسِلَتِ الشَّيَاطِينُ ».

It was narrated from Ibn Umar [May Allah pleased with them] that the Prophet (SAW) mentioned Ramadan and said: “Do not fast until you see the crescent and do not break the fast until you see it, and if it is cloudy, then count it”

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ - رضى الله عنهما - عَنِ النَّبِىِّ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- أَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ رَمَضَانَ فَقَالَ « لاَ تَصُومُوا حَتَّى تَرَوُا الْهِلاَلَ وَلاَ تُفْطِرُوا حَتَّى تَرَوْهُ فَإِنْ أُغْمِىَ عَلَيْكُمْ فَاقْدِرُوا لَهُ ».

It was narrated from Ibn Umar [May Allah pleased with them] that the Prophet (SAW) mentioned Ramadan and he gestured with his hands and said: “The month is like this and like this and like this,” and he tucked his thumb away the third time. “Fasts when you see it (the crescent), and break the fast when you see it, and if it is cloudy, then count thirty for it.”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِى شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رضى الله عنهما أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- ذَكَرَ رَمَضَانَ فَضَرَبَ بِيَدَيْهِ فَقَالَ « الشَّهْرُ هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا - ثُمَّ عَقَدَ إِبْهَامَهُ فِى الثَّالِثَةِ - فَصُومُوا لِرُؤْيَتِهِ وَأَفْطِرُوا لِرُؤْيَتِهِ فَإِنْ أُغْمِىَ عَلَيْكُمْ فَاقْدِرُوا لَهُ ثَلاَثِينَ ».

Amr bin Dinar narrated that he hear Ibn Umar [May Allah pleased with them] say: “I heard the Prophet (SAW) say: ‘The month is like this and like this and like this,’ and he tucked away his thumb the third time.”

حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّاءُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ - رضى الله عنهما - يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِىَّ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- يَقُولُ « الشَّهْرُ هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا ». وَقَبَضَ إِبْهَامَهُ فِى الثَّالِثَةِ.

It was narrated from Abdullah bin Umar [may Allah be pleased with them] that the Prophet (SAW) said: “The month is like this, and like this, and like this; ten, ten and nine.

وَحَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَكَّائِىُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ - رضى الله عنهما - عَنِ النَّبِىِّ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- قَالَ « الشَّهْرُ هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا عَشْرًا وَعَشْرًا وَتِسْعًا ».

Ibn Umar [May Allah pleased with them] said: “The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: ‘The month this like this and like this and like this,’ and he clapped his hands twice with all his fingers, but he tucked away his right or left thumb on the third time.”

وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِى حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ جَبَلَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ - رضى الله عنهما - يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « الشَّهْرُ كَذَا وَكَذَا وَكَذَا ». وَصَفَّقَ بِيَدَيْهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ بِكُلِّ أَصَابِعِهِمَا وَنَقَصَ فِى الصَّفْقَةِ الثَّالِثَةِ إِبْهَامَ الْيُمْنَى أَوِ الْيُسْرَى.

Ibn Umar [May Allah pleased with them] said: “The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “The month is twenty-nine.” And (one of the narrators) Shubah put his hands together three times, and he tucked away his thumb on the third time.Uqbah said: “I think he said: ‘The month is thirty’ and he put his hands together three times”

وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ - وَهُوَ ابْنُ حُرَيْثٍ - قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ - رضى الله عنهما - يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « الشَّهْرُ تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ ». وَطَبَّقَ شُعْبَةُ يَدَيْهِ ثَلاَثَ مِرَارٍ وَكَسَرَ الإِبْهَامَ فِى الثَّالِثَةِ. قَالَ عُقْبَةُ وَأَحْسِبُهُ قَالَ « الشَّهْرُ ثَلاَثُونَ » وَطَبَّقَ كَفَّيْهِ ثَلاَثَ مِرَارٍ.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah [May Allah be pleased with them] said: “The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: ‘Do not start fasting one or two days before Ramadan, except a man who (observes a regular) fast, then let him fast it.’”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِى شَيْبَةَ وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ عَلِىِّ بْنِ مُبَارَكٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِى كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِى سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « لاَ تَقَدَّمُوا رَمَضَانَ بِصَوْمِ يَوْمٍ وَلاَ يَوْمَيْنِ إِلاَّ رَجُلٌ كَانَ يَصُومُ صَوْمًا فَلْيَصُمْهُ ».

It was narrated from Az-Zuhri that the Prophet (SAW) swore not to enter upon his wives for a month. Az-Zuhri said: “Urwah informed me that the Aishah [May Allah be pleased with her] said: ‘When twenty-nine days had passed, which I had counted, the Messenger of Allah (SAW) entered upon me. He started with me. I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah! You swore that you would not enter upon us for a month, and now you have entered after twenty-nine days which I have counted.’ He said: ‘The month may be twenty-nine days.’’”

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِىِّ أَنَّ النَّبِىَّ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- أَقْسَمَ أَنْ لاَ يَدْخُلَ عَلَى أَزْوَاجِهِ شَهْرًا - قَالَ الزُّهْرِىُّ - فَأَخْبَرَنِى عُرْوَةُ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ - رضى الله عنها - قَالَتْ لَمَّا مَضَتْ تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ لَيْلَةً أَعُدُّهُنَّ دَخَلَ عَلَىَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- - قَالَتْ بَدَأَ بِى - فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّكَ أَقْسَمْتَ أَنْ لاَ تَدْخُلَ عَلَيْنَا شَهْرًا وَإِنَّكَ دَخَلْتَ مِنْ تِسْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ أَعُدُّهُنَّ فَقَالَ « إِنَّ الشَّهْرَ تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ ».
