Read All Ahadith In The Book Of muslim

It was narrated by Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (SAW) used to say: “O Muslim woman, no woman should look down on a gift giver by her neighbor, even if it is the meat from a sheep’s hoof.”

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِى سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- كَانَ يَقُولُ « يَا نِسَاءَ الْمُسْلِمَاتِ لاَ تَحْقِرَنَّ جَارَةٌ لِجَارَتِهَا وَلَوْ فِرْسِنَ شَاةٍ ».

It was narrated by Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (SAW) said: “There is seven whom Allah will shade with His shade on the Day when there will be no shade but His: A just ruler, a young man who grows up worshipping Allah; a man whose heart is attached to Masjid; two men who love one another for the sake of Allah, they meet and part on that basis; a man who is called to (a sin) by a woman of status and beauty, but he says: ‘I fear Allah.’; a man who gives charity so secretly that his right hand does not know what his left hand is giving; and a man who remembers Allah when he is alone and his eyes fill with tears. ”

حَدَّثَنِى زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى جَمِيعًا عَنْ يَحْيَى الْقَطَّانِ - قَالَ زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ - عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنِى خُبَيْبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِىِّ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- قَالَ « سَبْعَةٌ يُظِلُّهُمُ اللَّهُ فِى ظِلِّهِ يَوْمَ لاَ ظِلَّ إِلاَّ ظِلُّهُ الإِمَامُ الْعَادِلُ وَشَابٌّ نَشَأَ بِعِبَادَةِ اللَّهِ وَرَجُلٌ قَلْبُهُ مُعَلَّقٌ فِى الْمَسَاجِدِ وَرَجُلاَنِ تَحَابَّا فِى اللَّهِ اجْتَمَعَا عَلَيْهِ وَتَفَرَّقَا عَلَيْهِ وَرَجُلٌ دَعَتْهُ امْرَأَةٌ ذَاتُ مَنْصِبٍ وَجَمَالٍ فَقَالَ إِنِّى أَخَافُ اللَّهَ. وَرَجُلٌ تَصَدَّقَ بِصَدَقَةٍ فَأَخْفَاهَا حَتَّى لاَ تَعْلَمَ يَمِينُهُ مَا تُنْفِقُ شِمَالُهُ وَرَجُلٌ ذَكَرَ اللَّهَ خَالِيًا فَفَاضَتْ عَيْنَاهُ ».

It was narrated by Abu Hurairah said: “A man came to Messenger of Allah (SAW) and said: ‘O Messenger of Allah (SAW), what kind of charity is greatest?’. He said: ‘To give charity when you are healthy and inclined to be stingy, fearing poverty and hoping to be wealthy. Do not put it off until (your soul) reaches the throat and you say: ‘Such-and-such is for so-and-so, and such-and-such is for so-and-so.’ No, it has already become the property of so-and-so.’”

حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ عَنْ أَبِى زُرْعَةَ عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ أَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَىُّ الصَّدَقَةِ أَعْظَمُ فَقَالَ « أَنْ تَصَدَّقَ وَأَنْتَ صَحِيحٌ شَحِيحٌ تَخْشَى الْفَقْرَ وَتَأْمُلُ الْغِنَى وَلاَ تُمْهِلْ حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغَتِ الْحُلْقُومَ قُلْتَ لِفُلاَنٍ كَذَا وَلِفُلاَنٍ كَذَا أَلاَ وَقَدْ كَانَ لِفُلاَنٍ ».

It was narrated from Abdullah bin Umar that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said- while he was on the Minbar, speaking about charity and refraining from the begging: “The upper hand is better than lower hand and upper hand is one who gives and the lower hand is the one who receives.”

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ فِيمَا قُرِئَ عَلَيْهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- قَالَ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ وَهُوَ يَذْكُرُ الصَّدَقَةَ وَالتَّعَفُّفَ عَنِ الْمَسْأَلَةِ « الْيَدُ الْعُلْيَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْيَدِ السُّفْلَى وَالْيَدُ الْعُلْيَا الْمُنْفِقَةُ وَالسُّفْلَى السَّائِلَةُ ».

Hakim bin Hizam narrated that the messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “The best of charity is that which is given when one can afford it, and the upper hand is better than the lower hand. And start with those who are under your care.”

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ جَمِيعًا عَنْ يَحْيَى الْقَطَّانِ - قَالَ ابْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى - حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُوسَى بْنَ طَلْحَةَ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ حَكِيمَ بْنَ حِزَامٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- قَالَ « أَفْضَلُ الصَّدَقَةِ - أَوْ خَيْرُ الصَّدَقَةِ - عَنْ ظَهْرِ غِنًى وَالْيَدُ الْعُلْيَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْيَدِ السُّفْلَى وَابْدَأْ بِمَنْ تَعُولُ ».

It was narrated that the Hakim bin Hizam said: “I asked the Messenger of Allah (SAW) and he gave to me, then I asked him he gave to me, then I asked him he gave to me, then he said:’ this wealth is green and fresh; whoever takes it and without asking for it, it will be blessed for him, but whoever takes him for longing, it will not be blessed for him and he will be like the one who eats and is not satisfied. And the upper hand is better than the lower hand.’ ””

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِى شَيْبَةَ وَعَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِىِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ وَسَعِيدٍ عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ حِزَامٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ النَّبِىَّ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- فَأَعْطَانِى ثُمَّ سَأَلْتُهُ فَأَعْطَانِى ثُمَّ سَأَلْتُهُ فَأَعْطَانِى ثُمَّ قَالَ « إِنَّ هَذَا الْمَالَ خَضِرَةٌ حُلْوَةٌ فَمَنْ أَخَذَهُ بِطِيبِ نَفْسٍ بُورِكَ لَهُ فِيهِ وَمَنْ أَخَذَهُ بِإِشْرَافِ نَفْسٍ لَمْ يُبَارَكْ لَهُ فِيهِ وَكَانَ كَالَّذِى يَأْكُلُ وَلاَ يَشْبَعُ وَالْيَدُ الْعُلْيَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْيَدِ السُّفْلَى ».

Muawiyah said: “Be cautious wit regard to (the narration of) Ahadith, except a Hadith that was in circulation at the time of Umar, for Umar used to make people fear Allah, [the Mighty and Sublime] . I heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) say: ‘If Allah wants good for a person , he causes him to understand Islam.’ And I heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: ‘I am just a trustee. If I give to someone willingly, it will be blessed for him, but if I give someone because he asked for it and greedy, he will be the liked of the one who eats and but is not satisfied.”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِى شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ أَخْبَرَنِى مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِى رَبِيعَةُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الدِّمَشْقِىُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْيَحْصَبِىِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ يَقُولُ إِيَّاكُمْ وَأَحَادِيثَ إِلاَّ حَدِيثًا كَانَ فِى عَهْدِ عُمَرَ فَإِنَّ عُمَرَ كَانَ يُخِيفُ النَّاسَ فِى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- وَهُوَ يَقُولُ « مَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُفَقِّهْهُ فِى الدِّينِ ». وَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- يَقُولُ « إِنَّمَا أَنَا خَازِنٌ فَمَنْ أَعْطَيْتُهُ عَنْ طِيبِ نَفْسٍ فَيُبَارَكُ لَهُ فِيهِ وَمَنْ أَعْطَيْتُهُ عَنْ مَسْأَلَةٍ وَشَرَهٍ كَانَ كَالَّذِى يَأْكُلُ وَلاَ يَشْبَعُ ».

It was narrated that the Muawiyah said: “The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: ‘Do not persist in asking, for by Allah, because there is no one who asks me for something, and gets something by asking me for it while I am reluctant to give it him, and is blessed therein.’”

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ عَنْ أَخِيهِ هَمَّامٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « لاَ تُلْحِفُوا فِى الْمَسْأَلَةِ فَوَاللَّهِ لاَ يَسْأَلُنِى أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ شَيْئًا فَتُخْرِجَ لَهُ مَسْأَلَتُهُ مِنِّى شَيْئًا وَأَنَا لَهُ كَارِهٌ فَيُبَارَكَ لَهُ فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتُهُ ».

Humaid bin Abdur Rahman bin Awf said: ‘I heard Muawiyah bin Abi Sufyan say, while he was delivering a Khutbah: I heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “When Allah wants good for a person, he causes him to understand Islam. I am just the Distributor, and it is Allah Who gives.

وَحَدَّثَنِى حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِى يُونُسُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِى حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنَ أَبِى سُفْيَانَ وَهُوَ يَخْطُبُ يَقُولُ إِنِّى سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- يَقُولُ « مَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُفَقِّهْهُ فِى الدِّينِ وَإِنَّمَا أَنَا قَاسِمٌ وَيُعْطِى اللَّهُ ».

It was narrated by Abu Hurairah that Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “The poor person is not the one who goes around the people and is given a mouthful or two, or a date or two.” They said: ‘Then who is the poor person, O Messenger of Allah (SAW)?’ He said: ‘The one who cannot find enough to make him independent of means, but the people do not realize that he is in need, so they do not give charity to him, and he does not ask the people for anything.’

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ - يَعْنِى الْحِزَامِىَّ - عَنْ أَبِى الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- قَالَ « لَيْسَ الْمِسْكِينُ بِهَذَا الطَّوَّافِ الَّذِى يَطُوفُ عَلَى النَّاسِ فَتَرُدُّهُ اللُّقْمَةُ وَاللُّقْمَتَانِ وَالتَّمْرَةُ وَالتَّمْرَتَانِ ». قَالُوا فَمَا الْمِسْكِينُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ « الَّذِى لاَ يَجِدُ غِنًى يُغْنِيهِ وَلاَ يُفْطَنُ لَهُ فَيُتَصَدَّقَ عَلَيْهِ وَلاَ يَسْأَلُ النَّاسَ شَيْئًا ».
